No, if you want to give them their own playoff send em back to D1-AA

Y’all really gotta stop this bro, cuz the day one of em pull an upset; lotta y’all gon be acting like the team that loss it was predictable

The playoffs are a different monster than the regular season. Coaches and players have ample time to prepare and up their intensity.

You have good p4 programs that get blown out. Just last year, you had teams like Indiana and SMU that were solid all year and got completely destroyed in the playoffs. Those teams were much better than these g5 teams they let in. They wouldn’t be competitive with that 2024 Indiana team.

This is also entertainment. There is nothing entertaining about seeing a couple of g5 teams get blown out.

I have no idea why you’re going so hard for them. :heh:

The lines are everything. They don’t have the lines to compete.

There's no benefit in them joining a conference (at least for football). This cry for them to do so is futile. They get all the money, have more say so and control over their schedule, and have a unique TV contract that guarantees exposure every week. Joining a conference would be hustling backwards for them.
Let me ask you a football only related question.

If ND was in the ACC and they just beat Virginia in the ACC title game are they in the playoffs?

If Notre Dame won the MAC they'd be in the playoffs :troll:

Half joking but what they get from being independent (revenue benefits), they lose in security.
