Damn battle of the mid

You should be more concerned with beating Oklahoma, unlike Alabama, at least one of those mid teams did that.

You nikkas hating on Tulane and JMU are the problem

It’s a national tournament, how tf u gon have a national tournament if some teams have no chance to play

Y’all nikkas slick want the BCS back I can tell
Actually it’s not. It’s a group of conferences that have come to agreement on a playoff structure. The Group of 5 is only included to avoid anti-trust litigation. Otherwise they wouldn’t be involved.

I can't lie I am stunned that ND is left out but the new mindset gotta be we gotta be undefeated or we are not making the playoffs :yeshrug: Not going to even talk about joining a conference because that Will never happen good luck to all the teams in the playoffs
Nah they just can't lose two

If they beat either A&M or Miami they probably would've been top 4 with a bye.

All of this shyt is a joke. I've been saying how the week-to-week rankings should not be a thing forever, as they mean nothing, and this year they took that to new heights.

Miami isn't the problem to me, Bama is. Last week they barely beat Auburn, but somehow manage to move UP in the rankings. They looked like a high school team against Georgia, and somehow get to stay exactly where they are, while BYU gets moved down for losing in their CCG. All this tells me is the committee knew which teams they were gonna put in, and they manipulated the rankings last week to make it possible. So why are we doing this every week? If this were only an end-of-year thing, ppl would still be upset, but it would be what it is. Now, them 12 idiots just make themselves look totally incompetent with how this has gone.

Also, what they did is killed the Conference Championship Games. If you're gonna let Bama in despite that performance, and let Miami in even though they couldn't even MAKE theirs, well, why are we even bothering? And again, all you idiots calling for us to join a conference, amazing that you still can't see how stupid that take is.

Still surprised they left us out. We are pretty clearly one of the best 12 teams in the country right now, and I guess I'm wrong for thinking that's what the goal here is. 16 doesn't make this shyt any better, just dilutes it and pushes the argument down to teams 17 and 18. Somebody is always gonna be mad.

When Donovan Hinish got tackled in front of everyone on his way to a game-ending sack, that allowed A&M to steal that game, I figured then that our playoff chances were dead. Still, two losses, by 4 total points, to two playoff teams? In the first two games of the year? Trash.

Notre Dame don’t have no one to blame but themselves…if we didn’t have conference championship week then Virginia would have won the ACC and would’ve been in place of James Madison.

I think the committee made the right call. Although I don’t care for Tulane or JMU being in it. With that said none of the bottom 4 teams stand much of a chance anyways.
