Correct.

This right here is what this whole thing is about. Not electoral results, not politics, its about this clown thinking something is "immoral and disgusting". All he is is a narcissistic bigot that wants the party to adopt his bigotry. So even if we continue to get more evidence and data showing that the trans issue has no effect on elections, he will evolve his argument because he is too arrogant to ever admit he is wrong.
if I’m a bigot, then do you support men in women’s bathrooms?

It's primarily about white nationalism.

You're right in that Nap wildly overrates the trans thing, but a good economy is not going to make people stop being bigots or stop worrying that it won't be a white country anymore.

There idea that Trump supporters are all broke has been debunked lots of times.

Trump won in 2016 and the economy was reasonably decent.
People have always been bigots sincd the beginning of time, you give them less reasons to actually get off their ass to vote when the ecomomy is good

None of which were compelling when it's clear that the economy and prices/inflation were the dominant issue in 2024. The fact that we're seeing a complete switch in 2025 voting patterns with the SAME issues (economy, prices/inflation) dominating exit polls makes it clear. The president's party always gets punished when the economy is bad. That's a fact going back hundreds of years.

The trans stuff is a classic example of "bytch eating crackers" syndrome - ie when you are mad and don't like somebody, even the most minor shyt they do becomes a complaint point. An unlikable, old, fumbling president who can't string together multiple coherent sentences or fix a stumbling economy. Well now that's Trump, not Biden. Add in a god awful gerrymandering scheme that is backfiring and republicans could lose 50+ seats next year.

The economy is going to get worse, not better. Jobs are being erased and the federal government isn't even talking about it (AI, automation, etc). Meanwhile the president is hosting bowtie dinners and building a ball room. And you're talking about trannies. Anyone with a brain can see where this is going, what matters and what doesn't. Now if dems take over, ramp up the identity politics bullshyt again while doing nothing to fix the economy? Guess what, they will get punished again. Good thing is that there's a clear indication that our politics have changed. Whether it's Mamdani style affordability or Klein/neolib style abundance, the focus is on helping Americans. I don't expect the next dem nom to spend much of any time talking about highways being racist, who is impacted disproportionately by xyz, stolen land acknowledgements, etc. That shyt is over with. People need economic help.

:dead: :dead: :dead:

All facts, though.

He’s just a stupid poster who falls for societal issues like many low-IQ Trump voters. The reason Trump has won twice is because of the economy and the job market. There’s really nothing else to it.

It’s not about trans issues.
It’s not about the border.
It’s not about crime.

It’s the economy, and nothing else. Americans feel that things have not improved since 2006. So when the ecomomy sucks you can blame random immigration, you can blame the tranny you feel raised Healthcare cost, you can say crime raiser food prices in grocery store. Naps a low iq poster who provide fox news media bits. His whole view of politics is " will this play well for fellow low iq bigot voters" that's literally his politics

Yeah, Nap and folks like him are classic cases of people overthinking their way into thinking that their own personal bosses are entirely valid, and they're somehow smarter than people that disagree, primarily due to the random shyt they get fed by their social media feed. I mean, if you can't engage in actual conversation with someone on a topic beyond "Do YoU ThInK ThIS Is OkAy!?" and reposting the same handful of shytty video clips, maybe you don't have as nuanced of a stance as you think.

The average person really doesn't really have all that much of a concern about trans issues because they don't actually know or interact with enough trans people to ACTUALLY care. We have enough data to show that the root issue really is just the economy, and trying to blame immigration, trans people, and any other myriad of boogeymen is covering for the fact that the average consumer is being squeezed to juice profit margins across the board, and everybody's afraid to say that putting in the work to ACTUALLY fix the issue is going to be legitimately hard, and won't be something quick.

Or do you give them more incentive to focus on du jour bigotry when they don't have to worry about making ends meet?

The difference now is that they own and dominate social media though.

No economic policy is going to make people stop feeling like <insert minority group> is ruining the country when they're constantly told that.

Nah low information voters have the incentive to vote when you sell them on bigotry being the cause of their economic struggles. If the ecomomy was actually good they wouldn't get off they asses and actually vote based on bigotry at high levels

That’s always going to be a problem, and most of it comes from the regulatory environment the United States has created for itself. It’s a lot easier to complain or listen to podcasts than to actually take time off and vote. The next Republican won’t be able to turn out low propensity voters the way Trump has. He understands how to mix bigotry with the economy.

The economy wasn't good when he won and wasn't good when he loss. It was recovering slowly when he won. Trump would have won in 2020 if covid didn't tank the ecomomy, thankfully it did

The word I used was better.

So why did he lose when it was worse considering he ran the same campaign 3 times in a row?

And why are MAGA having issues in these runoff now that the economy is worse than when he took over?
