I get what you are saying, but the way you wrote this is very right-wing.

The Dems catered to identity politics too much, and it has led to someone like Crockett, who is a vibes candidate, believing she should be senator of Texas with not a lot on her platform.

A black woman can win any elected office, but they a)got to have an actual platform they believe in ---real talk, Crockett would make some headway if she even offered maternal leave as a platform, but she hasn't because she don't care enough about it to plant down that flag b)need a great slogan like any campaign c)have charisma d) is inspirational.

Crockett has charisma, but that's it. Its not just identity candidates, as we seen with Zohran, Dem establishment seem deadset against anyone proposing any policy solutions.

Crockett is just a bad candidate, not because she is a black woman, but because she is going to run on the platform of "I am a black woman that Trump hates."

It's not sustainable and won't get out of the primaries, imo.
I'm going to be fair to Crockett, this is generally the national democrat platform which is the issue i have with posters on here who be overly focusing on trump as a policy point. Which is why i additionally find the gavin newsome shyt corny and pay zero mind to it because materially it means nothing just empty rhetoric like Cherry coke to calories. As far as Crockett yes she's a dog shyt candidate and not because she's black it's because she generally don't stand for anything. As you said she's a great communicator, very charismatic I actually think she's better than Kamala as far as long forum interviews. Talarico may be marginally a better candidate but it's Texas i dont expect the best.

So we're fukked on healthcare costs basically :francis: If Americans don't make the entire map blue from Washington State to Pennsylvania, then I don't know what to say. It's enough to make me check out of politics. It's hard to care about what people are about to go through just for them to vote for these far right ghouls again.

People gonna have to learn the hard way (again) that Americans care more about shytting on groups they dislike than their self-interest :yeshrug:

LBJ tried to tell people years ago but naive people still want to believe in "working class solidarity" and shyt

So what's your plan to elect democrats if this your belief system? I'm trying to understand this self defeating democrat ideology

I'm not a Democratic strategist and don't have any plan :yeshrug:

But personally I don't think anything is effective other than waiting for Republicans to crash the economy or otherwise do something exceptionally terrible (start a war, mishandle a pandemic, etc.) otherwise American voters are just inherently reactionary and predisposed to vote for Republicans. I'm not saying that's some kind of strategy that I'm advocating, I'm just making an observation.

That's how Obama got elected (Iraq War + late 2000s recession) and how Biden got elected (COVID). Unless something especially terrible is going on, the average voter is more worried about enforcing their religious beliefs or shytting on minorities than something like healthcare.

Well this is better than calling her a “teeth sucking brunch bytch” so that’s an improvement compared to a few weeks ago from smooth mind

I'm dismissive of that shyt because I'm tired of it. I never said black women shouldn't be elected. I said when you create an environment where identity determines the value of candidates, you end up with terrible candidates and losers. We literally see this every 2-4 years when a black republican emerges, gets put on a pedestal by republicans, and then gets destroyed because he's not a good candidate. Crockett is not a good candidate. She's a fukking joke. But she's been honing her message, image, speak etc to appeal to a very specific brand of MSNBC democrat shyt. I don't think she'll win the primary but we'll see.

Your identity doesn't make you a good person, nor does it guarantee you should be listened to. I sure as fukk don't think anyone believes we should listen to Candace Owens because she's a black woman. That stuff was always intellectually corrosive and like I said...we're in a new era now and it's not surprising some want to cling to that shyt because it was lucrative for them.
my post agreed with you, but it was a leftist critique.

Crockett is all style and no substance.

I would not be surprised if Crockett and Marjorie Taylor Greene are co-hosting some train wreck show on MSNBC or CNN in 2027, since this shyt is all fake and entertainment.

MTG is clearly looking to throw a wrench in the GOP's 2028 Primary. She's doing all this shyt to "soften" her image and a lot of these White Women talking heads are eating that shyt right up. They are totally going to rehab her. Just curious to see if the 52% of White Women move to like 63% in favor for her. Republican Woman has the easier path to actually getting elected cause too many of them Red States just default vote for the R. Just can she win the plurality of that primary.

The Zohran for the pragmatists :wow:

This guy is good, cac mamba and I both disagree on immigration but we both agree he gave a good answer here

I mean, this is not a novel approach to immigration by a Democrat at all. This literally sounds like 08 Obama's policy views on immigration.

Which most Americans agree with.

The policy isn’t what’s the most important detail when campaigning, it’s how the candidate is presenting the policy

I don’t think so

And even if she tries, she gonna say or do something bat shyt that makes her unelectable in Georgia, let alone nationally.

Different industry, but Megyn Kelly tried the same pivot and is in the same place after the attempt.

If you want people to believe you're actually going to make changes it's best to present them with a message and changes that seem attainable.

She and Charlie Kirk have the same exact odds of winning the GOP primary in 2028.
