Unfortunately the majority of voters (even if it's a small majority) do want what Vance and Fuentes are selling :francis: that being Christian nationalism and getting rid of as many brown people as possible. That's the current social environment.

I wish it wasn't true but it is, if it wasn't then Trump wouldn't have been elected twice. I just don't buy this idea that people don't know what they're voting for, or that they think Trump is some sort of economic genius.
This is false . Majority of voters just want a good ecomomy

you're getting too discouraged by trump's wins; they both came against women, and in cycles when the republican primary was basically the general election

-in 2016, the republican party had the momentum back after 8 years of a Dem president. hillary was an awful, disliked, establishment candidate, AND up against the gender barrier

-got his ass kicked in 2020

-in 2024, any republican with a pulse beats kamala. she sucked, and the economy sucked. it's time we all admit that

a good moderate Dem represents the widest range of voters, and can beat a republican in most years. trump is not a "winner", with a coalition; he's a fukkin fluke

Nah, a "fluke" doesn't win twice, and honestly had it not been for COVID he probably would've beaten Biden (or any Dem in 2020)

This is false . Majority of voters just want a good ecomomy

The majority of voters think immigrants and lazy black people are responsible for their economic problems :yeshrug: as long as that's the case far-right Republicans will continue to get elected more often than not

Dems really only win in the aftermath of Republicans doing something especially terrible (ie. War in Iraq, mishandling COVID, etc.). Maybe they can eke out a win in 2028 based off Trump's terribleness but in a neutral environment Americans lean toward electing right-wing a$$holes, especially post-Obama.
