It’s simply not healthy as a long term solution.

Actually it is. But go right ahead ignoring the scientific research with your apriori arguments.

Fasting is literally the most beneficial thing you can do from your health. The scientific evidence is now becoming overwhelming.

”scientific evidence” like what, a few YouTube doctors pushing their books? Suddenly it’s science? Is The Cleveland clinic telling its patients to just not eat for a weeks at a time? Hospitals cutting back their cafeterias for their patients to one day a week? Everyone tells you the earth is round, you find a couple quacks saying otherwise and you believe them and ignore others. Lose weight by eating sensible like every healthcare practitioner recommends? Ignore them, I’ll buy in to this random doc on YouTube he sells a book about losing weight and I don’t even have to eat anything. Everyone else is trying to fukk of legal age women, you’re lusting after adolescent women. Just a smart/dumb go against the norms motherfukker like so many others

That boy @Swagnificent is right

I got into a bad car accident in January 2012. Couldn’t really do shyt for like 8 months. In that time I went from 180 to like 245 and stayed at that weight til the beginning of January 2014. I got tired of being a fat slob and started a 7 day water diet to help me boost my weight loss. I didn’t eat anything in those 7 days. Only drank water. Lost about 20lbs in that 1 week. Then after that I did a fruit diet for the second week to ease my stomach back into eating. Only ate 3 fruits a day for 7 days. 1 every 3-4 hours and drank water. And got my ass on the elliptical for a hour everyday during that second week. I lost another 10lbs that second week. 3rd week I ate regular food but small amounts and worked out. After that I just repeated.

In 2 months I went down to 185. Didn’t have any loose skin. That was over 5 years ago and I never gained that weight back.

OP doing a 7 day water diet and seeing how much weight you drop in that week will motivate you to keep losing.

when I did my water diet the only hard part was the 1st day. Stomach growling and headache. Waking up the second day I didn’t feel any of that. I felt great actually. Give it a try. Just drink a shyt load of water for that 7 days. It flew by quick for me.

Good luck breh.

No ones disputing you lose weight by not eating. That’s common sense. That’s the definition of a calorie deficit. Do you still go weeks without eating?

Actually there are lots of peer reviewed articles on the health benefits of fasting but go ahead being proud of your ignorance.

The reason fasting isn't being utilized in a large scale is the same reason we still put sugar in everything eventhough we know sugar is incredibly bad for our health. People are stupid when it comes to our health. Even doctors fall short when it comes to preventing illness. They would rather just treat the disease.

A hospital is a place full of sick people. That's a horrible analogy.

I've done a 48 hour fast before, and felt great. The only real difficulty is in the first day since we've become so conditioned and programmed to eat frequently during the day. I had done intermittent fasting before, up to what was basically an omad protocol. But this time, the only real problem I had was falling asleep. The next day was easy. In fact I probably could've done much longer. I was getting in touch with true hunger as opposed to eating out of habit. Going to be using 48-72 hour fasts regularly, and eating a mostly ketogenic diet. Carbs do not agree with my system.

And unlike our ancestors you will probably die of heart disease or cancer. shyt our ancestors didn't have to worry about.

And FTR fasting isn't starvation. As long as you have sufficient body fat your body will be fine. It will simply feed on the stored energy in your fat reserves. If you're mad lean then yes you could starve because you lack the stored fat reserves.

Our bodies store fat for this exact reason. So that when we are without food we will have sufficient energy to survive.

Nah. No heart disease or cancer in my family.

Breh, I know what fat is :mjlol:.

1500 calorie limit and you'll be 165 by holiday 2020.
It works but eating below 2,000 is actually unhealthy.

The OP is 285 for crying out loud lol. He can just eat 2,000 or even 2100 calories a day but limit the salt "can foods, mexican food, fast food ect", avoid soda and jog for an hour for 4 to 5 days a week and he'll see results

Link a bunch up that say everyone should be fasting for 4-5 days regularly
