Short intermittent fasts work.

Op try three months of
  • Skipping breakfast. Just eat once at lunch and dinner.
  • Walk an hour. Anywhere. Outside, in your home. Put some headphones on and jam while u walk
  • No sugary or alcohol.
U should be like 40 lb lighter at your weight between the shed water weight (~10-20 lb), fasting loss (~15-20 lb) and walking (~10-15) for three months.

Those are pretty simple changes that don't require much effort or inconvenience

I’m on 17 hours right now and just did an hour of light cardio. Think it’s gonna be harder not to eat because who the fukk doesn’t love food vs being hungry. I am also 5”11 250 so I got some fat my body can eat off.

I stopped drinking alcohol and lost 50lbs in a month. Started walking my dog everyday and lost another 10 the next month. Lifestyle is always the hardest part, bad lifestyle habits are usually what is holding you back from your dream weight first. Fix the lifestyle and getting there is easy. Gonna start jogging next week.

I did OMAD - One meal a day. Fast for 23 hours which leaves you a one hour window to eat. You can eat your daily calorie limit in one sitting and it wont effect to negatively. I did that without working out and lost over 50 pounds. My eating window was 6-7pm

Actually there are lots of peer reviewed articles on the health benefits of fasting but go ahead being proud of your ignorance.

The reason fasting isn't being utilized in a large scale is the same reason we still put sugar in everything eventhough we know sugar is incredibly bad for our health. People are stupid when it comes to our health. Even doctors fall short when it comes to preventing illness. They would rather just treat the disease.
We gonna get any links to those peer reviewed published studies recommending the general public to practice extended fasting regularly or nah?

Highest I ever got was 245. That was maybe for half a year (6 months) steady. I averaged more around 225 or so for about 3 years tho. And thought I was doing “good” when I finally sat at 205ish for about a year. But I’ve been under 200 for over 2 years now and I feel great. At first it was 195 then 185 then 175 and I’m currently sitting at about 167 pounds. 6’1. 31 years old

I feel amazing

lose the weight breh

it’s always worth it

@Swagnificent I'm going to actually attempt this shyt starting today to lose 15-20 lbs for a wedding at the end of the month. I'm 6'2.5/232.

You need to post some videos/info on how to actually transition into it and some helpful appetite suppressors. I already know the benefits of fasting but starting this cold turkey is not realistic. Do you start with EOMAD then go into full fasting or what? Also what are some appetite suppressants to use? Gums, pills, drinks etc..

You should first consider what your ideal weight is, not just your dream weight, based on your age and height.

there’s some formula I seen years ago on the UNs world health website, it gives you the approximate weight you should be.

But all things are possible. You just gonna have to remain vigilant about it.

I was doing OMAD for awhile before I started fasting. Mainly cause I was busy not because I was trying to eat once a day. You could try that. However, its best to just jump right into the deep end. That way you can have your body adjust to the new way you'll be eating ASAP.

First thing you should do is look up "snake juice". Its basically water mixed with sea salt and potassium. Make it yourself and drink it while fasting so it balances the electrolytes in your body. When you fast you will lose salt and potassium from your body and that will make you tired as fukk. To make sure you feel good you need to replinish those electrolytes.

I would suggest starting out with a 48-72 hour fast. That should detox your body. After that first fast, your body will get used to it and you won't feel hungry anymore after that. You won't need apetite suppressants cause your body will not be hungry. It will learn to start feeding on its own stored fat reserves when it doesn't sense food in your stomach.

@Swagnificent I went 20 hours from Saturday to Sunday and I just finished 24 hours. I did like an hour of cardio and half hour of lifting last night and I still wasn't really that hungry until like 23 hours into my fast. I already drank a ton of water before this so I think that helps. I literally drink out of a gallon. I haven't really felt tired or hungry both times I did it but I am also 6 foot 250 so maybe the theory is right that your body uses excess fat for energy when you don't eat. I been using the timer in my phone to track my hours and I just broke my fast so I turned the timer back on. I am going to stick with 24 hour fasting for now and see what happens.

I ate a tofu stiry fry with vegetables just now too so even when I do eat I am still going to eat healthy. This plus cardio gotta work.

Props for this. Keep your eating window to just one sitting. See how you feel doing this for a while. Then if you think you can handle 48 hour fast try it.

If you want the full benefits of "ketosis" which is when your body starts feeding on its own fat reserves, you'll need to push for at least a 48 hour fast. That way your body learns that when it doesn't get food it can go right into fat burning.

Also if you do try a 48-72 hour fast I would not suggest just drinking water. You should add sea salt and potassium to the water so your body doesn't become depleted of electrolytes. With no food coming in, all the water you ingest will clear your body of electrolytes causing you to be sluggish. To stay energized drink salt water instead of just pure water.
