The sleepless city
Have to hold these cats accountable. Sick of some brothers scared to speak up about this non-sense and/or resorting to “whataboutism”. :hhh:

The thing is you're not protected at all by these bullshyt ass authorities if you decide to speak up and have to testify about something you witnessed... Yea there's anonymous tip lines but if it comes down to you knowing something concrete , you will have to testify.
There's not many people that's willing to have a target on their back just because they want to do the right thing.... All in all its easier said than done.

My thoughts exactly, we live in an age of constant surveillance, and you mean to tell me they can't find out how these guns are coming into the hood, not trying to take blame off our young hooligans doing all this reckless shyt, but damn we don't control anything, so how can the average black citizen stop any of this shyt....

Your last point is why the cac/c00n tactic of mentioning black on black crime is a nonsensical rhetorical deflection.

They are assuming that every black person is connected to crime in one way or the other and therefore has the means to stop it.

There is nothing the average black citizen can do about black on black crime tbh

Its too easy to get guns but even if you could abolish all guns nationwide dudes will still find ways to kill each other.

The shooter most definitely has training. To hit a target with a headshot while sitting in a car. This was not just a random person in the head shooting. I'll let you guess who it probably is.

Look at the hand. It has gloves on it.

Dude is way too comfortable to be walking down the street with his daughter after being confronted by his would be killer in the car. He either knew them personally or it was someone with authority he had to acknowledge. He wouldnt be that comfortable walking with his daughter if they were a threat. Think about that.
This was a drive by shooting done by gang members

Anyone seen this? A corrupt Cac cop in SA sold 2000 confiscated guns to an arms broker who flogged them to Cape Town gangbangers. Guess what happened next!?

"Former police colonel Chris Prinsloo should be charged with more than one thousand murders committed with firearms allegedly smuggled from police to criminals, an advocate has told the Western Cape High Court....
Prinsloo, now serving a jail sentence for crimes including theft and racketeering, previously said he had sold at least 2 000 firearms meant to be destroyed by police to Laher, who then allegedly sold them to gangsters.

It is believed 1 066 murders were carried out with 888
of the guns between 2010 and 2014."
Ex-cop in guns-to-gangs case should be charged with murder – lawyer | News24

They don't even have to sell them here. You got snitch/informants [and gangs are HEAVY with informants/ties to cops, especially with the older members..] who randomly tell the 'right" people about certain spots with cargo full of guns//ammo.. Hell just a few weeks back you seen youngins in Chicago jacking shyt from a slow moving train...

I'm not giving them a pass for using the guns, because it's coward shyt IMO unless it's self defense type shyt...

Very sad times indeed. Imagine trying to raise a child in that type of environment. That's why I laugh alot about the ignorance when people shame others for not being "outside", "restoring the feeling" or not have their "ears to the streets". Do you know how dysfunctional you gotta be as a community and people to see violence as some type of medal and accolade. What man or woman wants either to be (a) in the streets (b) have their child/children in the streets.

I don't think you can stop this type of violence. Its a combination of poverty, systemic racism and toxic single parent households that enables this.

So this is also uncontrollable? So basically Black people have no agency even when it comes to choosing a partner or staying with a partner which they brought children in the world with?

I will say its a combination of unemployment, regular street beef, 1500 inmates rekeased from nyc jails becuase of rona, and the courts system being shutdown

Remember cops rarely stop violence. They are secretaries who arrive after and take notes and shyt. So lets not say more cops are needed.

the og’s in the hood need to handle thier youngins And cut the bs. Especially with kids around.
