This is to be expected. Anime really popped with Millennials and it has gotten more mainstream since then.

It's the equivalent to what Hanna-Barbera/Looney toons, scooby doo, flinstones, wacky races etc. were for older generations.

They're still classic though

I remember people thought anime was lame when I was a kid watching it. Outside of DBZ no one was really fukking with it except the nerds. Been on that Inuyasha, Yu Yu Hakusho, Samurai Champloo stuff
