You acting like every city in America don't got local spots :heh:

Home Frite in Brooklyn is great but the best local burger place I've ever been to was in Atlanta. Grindhouse Burgers off Cheshire Bridge.

Honestly NYC in my experience is very hit or miss outside of ethnic food.

Home Frite is a chain. There's others outside of Brooklyn. I'm not talking about chains, hence why I compared the spots I mentioned to 5 guys and Shake Shack. I'm talking about exclusive spots.

This is why I hate NYers. :pachaha:

They always gotta come in on some "oh you want a real burger? Go down to TaGino's on 78th street. Best in the world!"

It's a burger nikka lol.

The Fulton on 89 south, 4 Charles prime rib & Minetta Tavern. Those 3 spots have burgers that are over $35 for a reason. The average person ain't spending money on a high quality burger, where the meat is aged, a specific cut and fresh. Regular burgers aren't specialized like that. Those 3 spots aren't just your regular burger spot. 4 Charles prime rib is a restaurant that's hard to get in, you cant just walk in there and get what you want like a regular restaurant.

This thread is abut 5 guys which for over a decade has been touted as one of the best burger spots in America and OP made the claim they lack seasoning. Me bringing up exclusive spots in NYC is me pointing out that high quality burgers better then 5 guys exist in NYC and I'm just naming them.

No need to. You don’t season beef burgers.

Buy better beef and the requirement for seasoning is less.

Yes the hell you do season the beef. You talking about buyjng better beef like a filet would taste good with no seasoning or basting. :hhh: :dahell:

You shouldnt taste the condiments more than the beef. And thats what precisely happens. You taste the cheese, pickles, and whatever else more than the beef.

I always see White people cooking in there. They dont season correctly. But there are some legit white BBQ cooks....just its not consistent.

Exactly why you can put 50-11 toppings on a burger there...to cover up that bland taste :hhh:
