Aight let me try to address some of the comments/questions in here in a simple way.
I dont understand what we even need 5G on phones for. LTE is already fast enough for internet on phones and 5G does not even reach as far. If theres even a question about it being bad for people just dont use that shyt. I dont even need 5G, everything I do on my phone works just fine with LTE as it is now. shyt is just pointless.
There's always going to be proliferation with technology. But 5G is more than speed. It's about low latency (imagine nearly instant communication) and capacity. You ever been to a packed event and your phone slows down? 5G will fix that. More users + data over the same coverage area.
5g garbage..
Got the newest phone with the 5g icon and it's still slow in certain areas
Is it 5GE? If so that's basically LTE that AT&T branded different. Who's your carrier? T-Mobile has 5G that's not even much faster than 4G in some areas. Verizon has true mmwave 5G.
Here's a brief article showing some differences:
5G a ‘mixed bag’ as Verizon gets high speeds, T-Mobile offers better coverage – RootMetrics
Why do self-driving cars
have to communicate with each other?
If you want truly autonomous vehicles then they need to be able to communicate with each other. How else will they avoid each other/drive in the most optimal way? This is why I think autonomous vehicles is 15 years away at earliest. The "infrastructure + majority of the vehicles on the road being autonomous" combo is not happening anytime soon.

Wait what ? explain this. That shyt sound like nonsense
5G is just the fifth generation of wireless communications. There are many ways to deploy it and a lot of different things fall into the category. I think he's saying that if you're going to be against 5G, then you need to focus on a specific application of it that is causing an issue.
For example, Sprint/T-Mo's midband 5G isn't the same as Verizon's mmWave 5G as referenced in the article above.
