Both my parents and my sister are gamble-holics (or however the fukk you would say it). They would get paid, go to the casino blow all their money then come asking me for money from my little ragedy ass checks when I was in my 20s. Had to stop fukking with them. Rarely talk to em. They didn't teach me about money, or anything really. I feel like I picked up back habits about bills from them. I couldn't even save money while I was still living with my mom and sister, cuz I'd be spending all my money on necessities and bills and shyt for 3 people, while they'd be at the casino on them damn slot machines blowing through checks. So, I'm probably not the right person to be speaking about issues like these, cuz i'll cut off anybody. I learned I was out here by myself, and that's how I have to operate.

Also, one of the things I noticed was a lot of people that do fukkshyt be the loudest ones talking about family/loyalty.

I wish we could all be one big happy family but some people are just toxic and "we are family" is not a good enough reason to tolerate abuse of any kind.

1. There are drama filled silly family members. Annoying, always borrowing but harmless.

2. There are evil = violent, sexually abusive and the sexual abuse enablers, bullying, emotionally abusive, even murdering family members.

3. There are the self-serving ones who guaranteed will screw you over to get ahead or get what they want.

4. All the other types...

Don't let anger or self-righteousness keep you away from her, she is only human, if she is not a "predatory" person then try to reach out and just keep her at arm's length.

i know the feeling OP my dad 70 years old so we thought it would be nice to remodel the kitchen in his house a few months ago as a family

so long long story short my sisters husband an my brothers wife both bossy as fukk people get into it nobody got cussed out or any thing a disagreement over some fukking wall molding

now my nephew (my brothers son lives next door to my dad on my dad's land i might add rent free)

i guess he felt some kinda way about how the whole disagreement went down so he tex my sister

( her an the husband dealing with some heavy FBI level court shyt right now because of some people they where working for feds don't care if you didn't do nothing wrong or not but i digress)

this nikka throws that shyt in they face an acting like he didnt do nothing wrong...


an to top it all off my brothers wife pulling the we got a share here card so dad gonna make a will an put shyt in my name so it wont be no shyt after he gone

Sometimes YOU might be the problem.

I remember me and some dudes got an apartment in college.... looking back I was wild disrespectful and a shytty ass roommate. Once we graduated dude never spoke to me... completely cut me off. For years I couldn't figure out what the issue was but over time I saw the error in my ways.

So sometimes someone might be a dikkhead, but it's not out of malice... it's just because they literally don't know better Regardless of the reason or the relationship, at some point you can't make their problem yours. My dad def fits that mold... he's a fukking dikkhead, zero impulse control, zero emotional intelligence.... but if you knew how he grew up it would all make sense. Either way I can't be the one to sort things out for him. He turns 70 next year, he's had plenty of time to figure it out on his own
