Man what a shytty owner then, but that said I got no respect for any owner that lets an employee bully them.
Thats why Al Davis will always be the GOAT to me.

Yea if that's a true story he's one of the shyttiest owners in professional sports that I can recall. After Art Modell he'd be right up there.

What young talent?

Brett brown hasn't shown any indications he's an above average coach

Hinkie ruined relationships with agents by treating players like they were on his fantasy team

And everybody has cap space this season so why would anybody go to Philly over all these other opportunities?

Okafor, Noel, Embid, you don't look at that as young talent?
I agree Brown is unimpressive.
The rest is BS, if he was winning it wouldn't be an issue.

Everyone will get a cap increase, none will have as much space as Philly

they have money to splurge on FAs and a excellent crop of young talent.
I'd think for a team that was in that limbo area, to get to where they are, stock talent and cut payroll like they did that is a pretty good turnaround.
There only problem in my opinion is really the coach.
If they get Simmons they would be the perfect payoff to their strategy

It's amazing how people can't seem to understand that a few high draft picks in a row doesn't make a team a contender overnight, and can't appreciate potential for what it is. The Sixers are in as good a position as any team in the league to build a contender in the next 4-5 years.

Just heard him on the Lowe podcast. Didn't give any signs of this at all

What? He sounded depressed through the entire podcast:mjlol:. He was talking about a bunch of nonsense to.:mjlol:

"B-b-b-but no strategy has more than 25% chance to win"

"B-b-but we got a 45% chance of getting the 3rd pick"

"B-b-but no one strategy is better than any other strategy"

I knew he didn't believe in any of this shyt when on that podcast he said they go back and they "re-do and reanalyze" previous draft for...well he never really explained why they did that...

AKA "we know we fukked up drafting all these injured big men and a foreign player who might never come over here so we sit around and think about what if we drafted Giannis..."

RIP to that coaching staff and front office staff that will surely be fired within the next few months cause they got swindled by this no upper lip having dumbass...:mjcry:

No but they made no progress from one year to the next they went out of there way to be terrible that shyt gets no play from me doing that trash for three years atleast make incremental improvements to show you are getting better.

Wish yall would stop with this lie. Philly never went out of their way to be terrible.

What :russ:

The number one guy they are counting on to play hasn't played 1 second of basketball since he has been drafted

The number two guy they are counting on his a foreign player who has never played in the nba

The number three guy they are counting on was getting in street fights and almost got shot in the fukking head

How does this make them a contender...

Embiid is quickly becoming the most overrated player in the nba...without actually playing in the nba...:russ:

Nova is a VERY slight consolation for the state of Philly's professional teams right now.

All the celebrations they showed were near the University. Philly, at least where I live in South Philly there was no celebration.
:ld:Parade downtown on Friday at 1pm.

Embiid isn't the #1 guy they're counting on, that would be either Okafor or maybe Noel. Saric definitely isn't the number 2 guy they're counting on. They're counting on $50-60 mil in cap space, a combination of all those players listed, if even 2 of them come anywhere near their potential and they add 2-3 solid free agents, along with their picks this year, they'll be in position to POSSIBLY build a contender in 4-5 years like I said. I never said anything about it being a given or happening soon.

Best part about your post is you pretty much confirmed my post that you were responding to.
