Always is an issue with the length. Of course it's hard to justify ways to make it shorter as far as match counts go. Every match was either for a title or a feud. It shows how much of the roster is consistently being used on a week to week basis. Plus that's with Okada unifying two belts and Fletcher not defending his, so that could've extended the card even more. Not to mention the 3 top guys that were out, which at least 2 may have had a match if available.
It's interesting the comparison with WWE who had 5 matches on their card, rumors of a possible 6 with a women's title match. Is it cause they haven't been building up much storylines for their champs lately, or just that AEW uses as much of the roster as they possibly can consistently? Then you got all the returns like Kingston, Pac, and JB. That's even more tv time required for them & who knows how that'll translate to the PPV cards.
It's good that as many as possible get on the card. It's just difficult to cut stuff since everything was important recently. Maybe the trios match was most likely but even still not that much.

A lot of this show didn’t need to be on here
Some matches where overrated per usual because of “Good Graps”
But a serviceable show non the least but the company is still isn’t where it needs to be storyline wise
There was an absolute crazy Toni Storm hater in the front row giving her middle fingers before and after the match, dude was mad as fuuuck at her for some reason.
