A Chicago team with Wennington, Longley, Salley, Edwards and Rodman swarming around Shaq helped Chicago sweep Orlando in 96. Shaq did get his numbers in those games but the rest of the team outside of him and Penny were staaagnant and struggling cause they took away their 3 point shot (And Horace to be fair was injured and out the series by game 1 and ditto Nick Anderson by game 3 and Koncack and Shaw being ineffective with injuries themselves but I'm saying..)
I think just bodies would frustrate a young Shaquille.

Word these boys acting like just because they had Shaq they can't lose. Shaq used to get swept outta playoffs every year. Sure Shaq would abuse Ostertag in their 1-on-1 matchup but the Lakers still used to get owned.
Shaq could drop 40 a game but you still need about 60 more points to win. Probably 70 more because this team wasn't very good defensively.

I love that magic team but yall overrating them pretty hard. Shaq can be stopped, especially with zone defenses now and the way bigs are officiated shaq couldn't do that bully shyt anymore without getting in foul trouble. Same way d12 can't dominate like that even though he's stronger and more athletic than everyone he plays against. their perimeter players have no chance against bron and a healthy wade. And like someone said just put shaq in a pick n roll and their whole defense will collapse. There's a reason they never won anything.
