stop projecting, no one is protesting the cost of a tesla or voicing jealousy. they are protesting for affordable housing and decent public transportation.

I posted what I posted. I meant what I meant. If you’re too stupid and dumb to comprehend it (which is sad because it’s basic English), that isn’t my problem. Affordable housing and transportation is an entirely different topic. I don’t discourse with morons. Good day.

Crabs in a fukkin barrel

Who cares if the person at McDonalds getting $30/hour to flip burgers. That money ain’t coming out your check

The problem is trade apprentices have to go through 4 years of training to start earning $30/hr. Most college students need 4 years of school to earn that type of money. Even IT folks need 2 years worth of certs to get that. But you paying folks $30/hr after 2 weeks of training:wtf:

Until a poster who has a business with employees explains things, you just can't convince me. Y'all don't have any experience in that world and that males your opinions invalid.

You said it.

:hubie:
Yea. It's real. Moved to the toughest cities on earth with 500 dollars and no network. Grinding.

Never been broke or had trouble finding work. Worked to get skills catering to my strengths and made a life to support a family and buy a house.

So I don't understand hopelessness.
Long as you getting money to support your loved ones, then yea fukk these businesses.

Just don't go to prison for it.

A RISING TIDE LIFTS ALL BOATS

all those current $30+ an hour occupations you worried about should be getting paid more! wages have been stagnant for a lot of professions for decades.

did it ever occur to you they should be fighting for better wages as well?

The issue with all this, is that people think they’re taking the “power” back, however this is only hurting small and local businesses, and will further increase Walmart,Amazon, ect… and with no alternatives left, people will be forced to do certain things to be able to buy/sell at these places. This will also implode the economy and U.S. dollar, just as it was designed.

whats the alternative? workers should continue earning poverty wages while the cost of goods, food, housing and transportation outpace income like they have been for the last 30 years?

I don't think it's hopelessness. I think there is plenty of money to go around for everyone and the people with real money use words like "entry level" and "low skilled" to keep wages down and hold people down. Sure some people will get out of the rut and achieve the so called "American Dream" because they worked hard, but most will not even if you're the best at your job. Usually having the right connection or being at the right place at the right time is more important then being skilled. In the "richest" country in the world we should not have people struggling in life as much as we do. Most people work hard. I work at a beef plant and there are plenty of people here who make less money then both you and I and still have more then us. You'd probably look at a worker here as "low skilled", but I've seen "high skilled" workers who have failed miserably. I've been in the processing industry for over 20 years and I've always worked hard from day 1 because I take pride in my work, but I haven't always been rewarded the way I feel I should. I make great money now, but my job isn't any easier or skilled then the "bung dropper" providing beef for you so you can flex about that prime rib/filet/NY Strip you ate for dinner.

My life isn't determined by a monetary value or how much stuff I got. Anyone can get stuff and money. Everyone deserves to make a living wage no matter the job because as the pandemic proved a lot of these low skilled jobs are more important then the supposed high skill jobs your reference.

The only real alternative my breh is to get right with God (Yah/Yahuah) and believe in the sacrifice of his son (Yahusha), as this is by design to get the U.S. to tank, and cause the need for global government/currency/religion.

The money has been purposely inflated and backed by nothing. It’s only held up, because other countries have to use it, but they’re using other currencies already. It is only a matter of time now. If people do get higher pay, it may most likely be for a season. I hope it doesn’t come to that tho.

Doesn’t matter how long or hard was to get that to point. Hopefully people are putting that amount of time into something they WANT to do . I’m in IT make good money now. If McDonald called and said they paying $5 more an hour, I wouldn’t quit my job because I don’t WANT to work fast food for a living

People get paid based on the what others are willing to pay. Basketball players should make millions because they good at putting a ball in a basket? Strippers should make 1k+ a night for shaking they ass? Idk, but that’s what the market decided on

Why is it always, “The free market will decide” until low paid workers start quitting?

The cheerleaders aren't even consistent.

Where were they when Sysco foods increased the price of pizza dough and tomato sauce?

Where were they when pizza man had to pay extra for plastic cups and Pepsi products?

We didn't here a peep from them the commercial lease for the pizza joint went up $3000/month.

Of course that's no big deal, the cost got passed on to the consumer and we've been conditioned to accept that type of inflation. Because you know, free market and stuff.

But when Jamal the cashier is being offered a $2/hour increase from a competitor all of a sudden it's "HEY!! YOU GONNA PUT COAL FIRE PIZZERIA OUT OF BUSINESS WITH THOSE DEMANDS!!! YOU DIDN'T EARN THAT THE HARD JAMEEL!!! I MEAN JAMAL!!!" :damn:.

Make it make sense breh :heh:

This country is broke. The money is you. The energy you have to work is the money. The paper isn't worth a damn and is only backed by your energy.
Unless you are working for a fortune 500 company I don't see how there is enough money for everyone to earn a living wage in our largest cities. If you believe that fortune 500 should employ the totality of America, that puts the principles and innovations of capitalism in jeopardy because people that are broke and hungry, come up with the best ideas. ( My opinion)

People saying McDonald's should give a living wage don't understand business and don't care to understand. They want Zaddy.

I believe a job is a placeholder for stability while you as a Man work on and master your personal gifts so you can venture into your own hustles ( ways to make money). This is what people do when they want to break out not wait on a pipe dream.

If you are black and unemployed holding out for a huge wage shift like these cacs I believe it's dangerous because of racism. These jobs will mostly go to other side with a small number of us squeezing in the cracks which will have a trickle down effect in hiring until we are basically where we are now. Now is the time to get it.
