College and school is a scam. Invest in a business or property and learn the ins and outs of it by yourself. Better off then being in debt with nothing to show for.

You right, there is a cap once you are in certain companies if you don't have a degree. The main issue I am describe is a bachelor degree, overall it seems like it is losing it's value. Feel like companies are requiring additional education/skills/experiences for jobs where you would have just needed that degree years ago. Feels like it's a gatekeeping thing to keep Black people out![]()
Of course some are but the amount of millennials and gen z having kids is really lowHow can you be certain? Because, I'd wager that some are.

I can only guess that people think this way because from college to career there's no defined path. People want to be hand held or they get lost real quick. Whereas with vocations or trades, it's a little more defined. I say every time with college, ask yourself what you wanna be when you grow up and then work backwards from there. Wanna be a lawyer? Gotta pass the bar. How are you gonna pass the bar? Gotta go to law school. How do you get to law school? Need to pass the LSAT and have some sort of undergrad degree. What undergrad degree? Philosophy, Pre Law, Political Science, etc. Now you know the major beats, you can fill in the blanks. It's not easy by any means, but it's also not complicated.
Grad school is an entirely different story breh. If you're going to law school you're earning a doctorate. You should expect to pay a high fee for the quality of education alone.
I'm paying out the ass for business school right now. I know what I'm getting myself into and why it costs what it does.
People outside of America arent crippled with student debt. People are pissed off and, I wouldnt even be shocked if violence started popping off on college campuses on a regular basis
95% of people don’t have the discipline to teach themselves basic personal finance let alone how to properly run a business. School exists for a reason.
Imagine “investing” in a property and you can’t read contracts, understand how to calculate return, or keep track of financial statements.
People can theoretically do many things.A person can learn it on their own if they really want it.
Didn't read the thread but this goes way deeper than school! Also, it's not a uniquely American problem. Men in a lot of countries are just giving up on life in a massive way. Off the top of my head countries that I have lived in the same thing happening. America, Canada, China, Taiwan. It has to do with fathers not being around their sons. Have a private school in Asia, we started noticing only girls were in the top end of the classes, and we checked back with our stats and everyone was saying the same things. It's a massive problem. We dug in and read!
Two factors:
Two books highlight this we found.
- Boys need a mission larger than themselves in life and have been told that masculinity is no longer needed which is so what true in the future. So fathers need to talk to their sons and make them understand there is a greater purpose.
- Fathers need to be around their sons as much as possible, simple talk at the table when eating with your son has lasting effects.

The last book should be required reading for any parent that has a boy. This problem hasn't hit our community in full swing cause we have other problems but it's coming for young brothers and our future brothers for sure.
