Doesn’t even have to be weight necessarily. Strength is what he needs. He’ll be able to get to his spots and get shots up much easier without relying on his length so much.

Good point.

I've definitely come around on BI though. He's going to fukk around and be my favorite of the young guys by next season :heh:

I was starting to think about 30 games into this season that if the Lakers don't become the offensive juggernaut like GSW people were expecting when we hired Luke, I'm fine with us becoming a defensive machine.

I mean, it's a matter of time before there is a new identity in this league of fastbreak threes and fast pace, and it may as well be us to become that all-D team.
They are perfectly built to play against GS. Look at last year how much trouble Houston gave by just having a bunch of guys that can switch across the board. The big difference is they have Cousins now so they finally have somebody that can kill you if he gets a guard switched on him, the one thing they were missing. But he's foul prone so the team can attack him. The Lakers young guys aren't great yet but they do have a lot of guys who are at least good offensively while being beasts on defense. They aren't good enough to win games offensively yet but the defense should keep them in it and that's where Lebron's greatness comes in to play. Hell that was his formula through most of the Cavs playoff runs whenever Kyrie wasn't playing.
