@martin payne is actually an OG LWO member. I gotta correct ya here. Breh has a difference of opinion and to be honest he might be the most positive out of all of us.

For everything that has been said, this front office hedged all their bets on this offseason. And if they succeed then all of this madness will be in the rear view. The problem though is that we’ve seen more than enough evidence to suggest that it won’t go as we hope.

Also @martin payne you can’t bring up flabgic catching heat as being some shyt because everyone wanted jim gone from the beginning, mitch was the whipping boy for years before the Pau/Ariza trades and one of those was by the blessing of Logo. Everyone wanted cokehead and mitch gone mainly because jim was undeserving of the position and the franchise needs people that know what they’re doing. You tell me what experience Magic Johnson and Rob Pelinka have in the high stakes world of team building and management? None. So why are we suddenly excusing this? Just cuz the same issue got a Black face don’t mean we can excuse it.

If Magic proves everyone wrong then crow will gladly be eaten. But that’s not gonna happen. The same problem we had back then is the same problem we got now. We just have new faces in those roles.

I still believe LA will win 1 - 2 Championships over the next 3 seasons. They just had too many things go wrong this season. And when you really take a step back and look at the roster. The only true starters on this team are Lebron, Ball, and Ingram. Also. people aren't being consistent with their observation. Some fans were of the opinion that the Lakers missed the playoffs last season due to injuries. But when you bring up the fact that LA missed more man games this season with their top 6 players than last, they say it's an excuse. I understand some of you don't like Lebron, but there needs to be some consistency in how we judge this basketball team.

My opinion, If one of these things didn't happen, LA would've made the playoffs:

*Lebron injury (LA was up 15 pts on GS when LBJ got hurt)
*Lonzo injury (LA was up big on Hou when Ball got hurt)
*Rondo injury (Having Rondo as backup would've helped the second unit)
*Ingram injury (LA was on a 4 game win streak when Ingram went down)
*Magic doesn't trade Zubac
