but bogut will be out of the paint...

they are wins and lose on both side.. but love on bogut is his best bet.

Yep and that will be the match up. Bogut is also hurt and has a bad leg. Love will keep him out the paint if they guard him with love.

Love is the X factor because him and Frye forces the warriors go go small (which their small ball line up has not played as well as last postseason) and keeps the paint open for Lebron and Kyrie.

It also forces draymond to have to constantly guard the paint or chase a stretch big man or keep TT off the boards.

The key IMO is to make Green and Curry have to constantly work on defense. Last year in the finals both curry and green did not have to work as hard on defense. This year they will have to guard multiple people in multiple places on the court.

Spread Love - The Player Way
:dead: @ thinking GS isn't going to involve Love in pick and rolls on nearly every possession. There will be no hiding him in this series.
I'm seriously confused when people say they'll just hide a player....the warriors will do actions to weed out the weak link or have bigs on the perimeter. See kanter, ibaka, Adams. You don't switch on the warriors you get burned....you do switch...even with the superior athletes OKC has in the front court compared to Cleveland (Bron excluded) you get burned. Also how the fukk are the cavs deeper than the warriors? They're gonna kill love and Channing Frye defensively. Thompson has the lateral movement to keep up. Cavs just need to turn it into a shootout every game....and dominate the boards

One thing not many people have talked about yet, whether it be because they don't know or are choosing to overlook it, is that Cleveland is deep as hell. Deeper than GS. They run a 9 man rotation and have 2 legitimate players who could really pitch in getting 0 minutes in Mozgov and Mo Williams.

And they're one of the few teams in the league who get significantly better defensively when they bring their bench in. They run a second unit with Delly/Shump/LeBron/RJ/Frye that has absolutely steamrolled teams whenever they're on the court. They play lockdown perimeter defense and everyone there sans James, and even James when he's hot (which he has been recently), can shoot the 3 ball at a great rate. I've watched this lineup stroll onto the court several times now and either bring Cleveland back from leads that looked insurmountable, or completely blow open close games in mere minutes.

For all the defensive ability OKC had they were completely lacking in depth. Only 2 dudes off the bench were getting any kind of minutes in Kanter and Waiters and one is a net negative everytime he steps on the court because of his abysmal defense (Kanter.) Cleveland has more bodies than GS and more shooters.

Channing Frye shooting 60% from 3 in the post season, and on high volume too. :dead:

Delly plays lockdown defense and actually has an offensive game now. :dead:

Richard Jefferson is a vampire. :dead:

And GS can't do what they did last year and just clog the paint to force LBJ out of his comfort zone. Cleveland was forced to often play TT and Mozgov at the same time last year which killed their spacing. The team is fully healthy and has too many shooters now. If they try that strategy LeBron will average 15 assists a game.

Let these nikkas sleep. They're in for a rude awakening. :smugdraper:

I dug deeper in the stats and it shows that the Cavs starters and their death lineup this post season is playing better than the warriors line up and their death lineup. All while the Cavs defense is on par or slightly better in the post season than the warriors.

Add to the fact due to the warriors having to play more games they have logged more minutes than the Cavs starters. I think I read somewhere that klay and green have both logged over 600 minutes and lebron has just logged exactly 600 minutes these playoffs. So Lebron is much more rested than last finals.

Folks are really under selling the Cavs and I believe jokers gonna get they money took like in the 2010, 2011 finals and this year's Superbowl.

Also to all the Cavs fans I stand corrected. The team that lost in finals the year before and played the rematch finals the next year against the same team are 6-1 since 1970.

Below is a recap.

In 1973 the knicks defeat the Lakers 4-1 after losing the year before to the knicks 4-1.

In 1979 the Sonics beat the Bullets 4-1 after losing to the Bullets in 1978....4-3 (bullets won game 7 in Seattle which was the last team to win game 7 on the road in the finals).

In 1983 the sixers defeat the Lakers 4-0 after losing to them in the finals the year before 4-2.

In 1985 the Lakers defeat the Celtics 4-2 after losing to the Celtics in the finals the year before 4-3.

In 1989 the pistons defeat the Lakers 4-0 after losing to the lakers in the finals the year before 4-3.

In 1998 the Utah Jazz lose to the bulls 4-2 after losing to them the year before in the finals 4-2.

In 2014 the Spurs defeat the heat 4-1 after losing to the heat the year before in the finals 4-3.

So as you can see the team seeking revenge is 6-1 in these rematch finals (back to back years).

As I said at the start of the season I believed the Cavs would win the championship as long as they were healthy and I still feel that way.

Cavs over warriors in 5 or 6.

If JR turns to AR and is taking it to the cup and not taking contested fadeaways. Then this could be a long series. You can't really hide Curry on anybody

When Love over commits on Steph with Kyrie, Draymond is going to have an open lane to rim to either finish hard or alley to either Bogut or Ezeili. Watch the footage on the Christmas and MLK game matrchups. Unless Kyrie and Love become world class defenders on the pick and roll overnight, this is going to be a major concern for Cleveland going into this series. Draymond did not have that opportunity in this series because he was constantly picked up by Durant, Ibaka, and Roberson who took that lane away from him and have the foot speed to affect his impact.
The things we tell ourselves:yeshrug:

All this pre-series overanalyzing ain't gone mean shyt when the game start.

Nikkas got agendas and very few are posting relevant data to back their points up.

All this = worthless reading for the most part.

Salute to the couple posters providing real insight, not trolling to this thread tho (seems to be mostly those who think Cavs being underrated).
