Switching everything only works when your defenders are long and athletic. Neither of which the Warriors starting 5 are. If they seriously attempt to switch everything on the Kyrie/LeBron or Delly/LeBron PnR LeBron might score 50 a game.Dubs can just switch everything just like OKC did to take away the Curry/Draymond PnR
Just because it worked against the Raptors doesn't mean it'll work against the Warriors
You talk like Delly is anything but a fukking scrub. I love it when he tries to score off the dribble or shoot a 3. I'd switch with bron and then double him leaving delly to do what he does when the NBA FINALS are being played. this isn't game 3 vs Chicago nikka. hes assSwitching everything only works when your defenders are long and athletic. Double Bron then leave Delly open where he shoots 41 percent from 3. Brilliant. You talk like Delly is anything but a fukking scrub. I love it when he tries to score off the dribble or shoot a 3. It worked thus far, the lineup wasn't used substantially until Atlanta where Frye got more minutes, where it did work pretty well against a pretty good defense, a higher rated defense than GSWDubs can just switch everything just like OKC did to take away the Curry/Draymond PnR

According to the link I supplied, that lineup has the best net rating in the playoffs (amongst units used for 50 minutes+). That's why I pointed outSo the God tier doesn't include the 2 guys yall cried about that wasn't there last year.![]()
The Cavs actually play at a snail pace. They're one of the slowest teams in the league and are bottom 3 in the Playoffs in pace, on par with the Grizzlies (who are infamous for their slow ugly basketball), and the Pistons. People need to stop associating a high volume of 3s with fast pace and going for a "shootout." That's not how Cleveland plays at all lol.If the Cavs want to play a shootout like they have their entire playoff run, then Warriors in 5. Love and Frye are going to get torched on D (specifically on Curry pick and roll), and you're betting on outshooting the Warriors for 4 games?
If the Cavs want to play more of a slugfest like last year's Finals (more Delly and TT, and slowing the pace) then maybe we are talking...
Lue needs to manage Lebron's minutes because he is the only glaring matchup advantage and they don't need him wearing down again. Lebron also needs to be open to playing some center in crunch time lineups. Will he hit his free throws or his outside shot? Warriors are definitely going to bait him to shoot jumpers, and probably hack him a bit and live with 60% free throw shooting.
I also think the Cavs' psyches are in danger of caving in if the going gets tough. They haven't been mentally tough all year and the only minor adversity they faced in the playoffs this year was losing two games in Toronto, a team everyone knew they outmatched. Lebron might choke out Kevin Love if he doesn't bring it. They might end up having to throw Love in the bushes to be honest. Kyrie, Delly, JR, Bron, Frye/TT.
On the other side, Warriors just have to play their game and adjust accordingly. Start Bogut on TT and gang rebound. If TT's athleticism is too much for him like last year's Finals then try Ezeli or go small. I have a hard time believing the Cavs defense and rebounding will be tougher then the athleticism and length that the Thunder offered. I think the "Death Lineup" is about to feast in this series.
They had zero problems switching on the KD/Russ PnR. What makes you think they'll have trouble switching against the Cavs?Switching everything only works when your defenders are long and athletic. Shootout does not mean a track meet, so I'm not saying they have been playing faster. But shooting threes does lead to leakouts and long rebounds. So taking a high volume of threes might not work in the Cavs' favor. I can see Klay and Steph eating good off transition threes. The Cavs actually play at a snail pace. That's also how they get away with being average defensively. Because they play so slow and efficiently. The longer your possessions take, the less possessions the other team gets. The best defense, is them never shooting at all. They're pretty much the only team in the league equipped with the talent to play at a crawling pace and completely steal control and flow of the game away from GS.
You can switch on the KD/Russ PnR because KD is a frail bytch who struggles to drive against stronger defenders, and Westbrook can't shoot. Kyrie and Delly are both deadeye 3 point shooters, and there isn't a soul on the Warriors that can stop LeBron from driving with proper spacing. On top of all that, Kyrie himself is a great slasher. The Warriors actually have to give up something on the switch, it's a pick your poison situation. If you attempt to switch everything, you're going to have serious mismatches from both spots. Kyrie gets to dance with a big man and cook him and LBJ gets to drive on some dude who's pretty much guaranteed to be smaller than him and/or is a slow-footed big that he'll blow by. If you attempt to trap LBJ off the pick with a double, he's going to make you pay with his passing. Their best bet is to try trapping Kyrie because he has tunnel vision, but that means an open LeBron is rolling to the basket...They had zero problems switching on the KD/Russ PnR.
