Tyronn Lue: Cavaliers want to push pace against Warriors

Cavs are gonna try to outpace the Warriors? :ohhh:.......:dead:

I'm sorry but I'm not sure how that could go right for the Cavs. Seems like a good way to get blown off the court tbh

How will they get blown out when that fast pace will make Curry cough it up 10x's per game? Curry and Klay got the athleticism of a European (no offense to all my Euros out there). They can't run with Kyrie, J.R., and 'Bron, especially not without turning the ball over. Doesn't matter how long you've been playing that way. It only took the Wiz Kids a quarter of a season to play fast because they have the personnel. It's about whether or not you have athletes and if you're in shape.

So you have Cavs winning in 4, 5?

In a fair fight (no cheating from refs), Cavs sweep. In a real fight (no throwing games from Lue like he did the games against the Raptors and like Billy did game 7), Cavs sweep. I don't know what's going to happen, but the Cavs should win in 6 or less.

These are two of the dumbest statements I've seen on this thread, and that's saying a lot. Delly and Shump were relied upon last year, and they slowed down Curry quite a bit. That's common knowledge. They won't have to rely as much on them if at all this year, but having solid tough role players is necessary to win a championship…again, common knowledge.

Kyrie has been excellent in crunch time throughout his entire career and in these playoffs. Keep laughing, but we'll see who laughs last.
yes, keep the defenders on the bench and keep kyrie and jr out there. talk about dumb. learn basketball first

He was poppin shyt before because he didn't expect to see Steph. Bron doesn't strike me as the type to WANT the warriors. I think he wanted okc to win. if cavs do win hell throw passive aggressive Hate towards steoh after the fact though. he'll always be corny as hell

You're the worst sports fan. if shytdon't go your way you'll just lean on refs cheating. :martin:

I think they'll see a hit to their efficiency on offense, but it's been so ridiculously high in the playoffs coming down even a little bit would still make it potent. They've already gone against a very good defensive team in the Hawks and absolutely shredded them, 91 pace, 112ppg and 123 ORTG against the 2nd best defense in the league. The Hawks didn't have the individual defender to put on LeBron like the Warriors do with Iggy, but I also don't think Klay can guard Kyrie without some help so that opens up other areas.

I don't think Bron will allow them to get into an up and down game, he's been a master of controlling pace his entire career, he's smart enough to know trying to run with them is a death sentence.
Hawks are a great defensive team but that lack of anybody to really throw at Lebron is huge IMO. For the most part Lebron has had free reign the last two rounds to get anywhere he wants on the court and be able to dictate the offense a lot more. I think Iggy gives him legit problems and Klay will be able to make it a little more difficult for Kyrie. I see that being enough of a difference to make the Cavs nowhere near as efficient. Not to mention they have been red hot from three and it scares me that they've relied so heavily on three point shooting. If they can't keep up that shooting the long rebounds can lead to a lot of Warriors run outs. I think their best chance to beat the Warriors will not be to keep shooting as many threes as they have been through the playoffs. I don't see them getting the same looks. Against Toronto it bothered me that their answer to the threes not dropping was to shoot more of them.

When Toronto got at Cleveland, they responded by blowing them out the water the next 2.

When OKC got at GS, they responded by winning sure--but unconvincingly. Y'all were down big in every single follow up game and if it wasn't for Klay Thompson blacking out and channeling the spirit of Michael Jordan in Game 6 you would've lost in a blowout there too.

Only one team has looked anything close to dominant this playoffs and it's not yours. I don't wanna hear that "weaker conference" BS either considering GS' first two opponents were far worse than Cleveland's, and statistically speaking OKC and Toronto were evenly matched.

Sorry. :umad:
Easy to look dominant when you have the best 3 players on the floor in every series.

This nikka said statistic like he had a better chance getting killed or locked up than making it out thru sports. I know gutter nikkas nowhere near as talented as dude and had schools/people doing everything they could to get em out the hood. This nikka was the best in the country at 16.

Aside from catching a stray, this nikka had damn near zero chance of being a fukkin statistic
