Relating last years finals to this years finals is stupid. A lot of the first 3 games in last years finals had to do with nerves and never experiencing adversity. Since game 3 last year the Warriors have:

1. Won 3 straight after being down 2-1 in their first finals appearance
2. Played 6 playoff games without their best player
3. Overcame a 3-1 deficit against a team that had 2 top 5 players.

:francis:
Every time I mention how tight GS was in last year's Finals, especially after Kyrie went down, it gets downplayed. :francis:
Quoted for emphasis.

bron sounded like he was coo wit the game plan.. he was just harpin on 17tos that led to 25 warrior points...

Defense wasn't the issue. I mean they made some horrible, but correctable mistakes. Offense was :patrice:

LeBron's gotta start taking and making jumpers as well. Iggy been giving him problems all season. :francis:

Double Bron then leave Delly open where he shoots 41 percent from 3. Brilliant. :mjlol:

Let me guess, the last time you watched Delly play was...last year's playoffs. Front like breh hasn't tremendously improved his offensive game. :stopitslime:

If you double LeBron off the PnR period he's going to find someone and you're fukked. :manny:

b b but delly is much improved. this is the nba finals dipshyt not the regular season. dumbass cavs fans

Rewatched the game and did some analyzing. Tbh, a lot of the Cavs mistakes are actually pretty fixable.

- They won the battle on both boards, which is good, despite being the smaller team.
- They missed 28 shots at the rim. Lots of bunnies missed by Kyrie, Love, and Bron. We'll probably see less of that Game 2.
- LeBron's defense on Curry was really impressive. Both off and on the ball, didn't think he'd be able to keep up with him like that.
- Their bench obviously gave them nothing while GS' bench scored 45. Things will probably level out in Game 2. Need to see more Channing Frye, not sure why he barely played.
- But the biggest standout to me was their transition defense. It was putrid. Like, not even for a lack of effort or anything like that, but straight up miscommunication and constantly losing your man allowing a guy to leak out for an easy shot.
- Their half-court defense was effective in locking down Curry and Klay but at the expense of allowing all the other Warriors to get freebies. Not sure why the Cavs treated them like they're ain't shyt scrubs, constantly conceding open shots to Green, Barnes, and Iggy, but we'll probably see less of that in Game 2.
- Also, when they abandoned that ugly 90's post up game and went with more PnR action in the 3rd they were literally unstoppable, so I'm sure they'll hit the film, see where their offense was humming best, and run more of that in Game 2.
- Finally, LeBron needs to just let that shyt fly. He definitely got worse at 3 point shooting, but he's not helping himself with his shot selection. What made him so lethal from 3 in Miami was the fact that he was very selective about his shots. Cleveland LeBron settles for too many between the leg step-back 3s, when that's not his game. Call for a pick, go around the screener, set your feet and launch. He's also pretty good at straight up pull up 3s like the one we saw in the 3rd. Anything else, he shouldn't be taking.

I shouldn't even have to say it but I think Game 2 is gonna be a much better performance. And hey if they can split it 1-1, they have the advantage going home.

WELL cavs lost game 1
I don't know if they can come back from that dagger since GS looks like they came to play and even their bench is performing now
I don't see a sweep but you never know
Cavs gotta win Game 2 or they are in trouble
