Social media, and dating apps, have only exacerbated the issue. Men coming at women from all angles, and multiple regions, with deceptive tactics, time and time again. Then cats ghost em, sell em dreams, and it inevitably, goes nowhere. Also the horror stories (as other posters have already said), they're getting from other women online, in concert with goofies giving up all the game, and all the schemes, nggas be runnin. The dating scene (specifically for females) has gotten, overly toxic. It's Groundhog Day, as far as they're concerned. Why waste the energy.


That's not to say women still aren't getting dikked down, but they're becoming more "hip" to nggas ruses. I don't believe that stat about older single women at all. IMO they're desperate, and fear they'll get old, and die alone. They're the easiest to still cap.

I know a lot of women that feel like this. A lot of them just feel hopeless about finding a long term partner that isn’t a cheater, abusive, crazy etc they’d rather just be alone then thinking they found the one and end up years down the line finding out they really have a dud. Plus the internet and having access to all these stories of women getting done dirty left and right, who would seek that out on purpose?

When I was single I absolutely was not looking at all, most of my dates came from guys asking me out multiple times and I finally just go hoping they end up not liking me and leave me alone. I ended up liking my husband a lot and falling in love with him but who knows how this could end, that’s always a fear of mine, you could be a great spouse and a lot of the time people just don’t care and do you wrong anyways.

This is the problem. Everybody think everybody ain't shyt. Why can't folks just think and be positive for once? I think having a low tolerance mindset will help you avoid most shytty people.

How can they if they can't trust the other person they're dealing with? There's no set way or rules on how to move with "courting." So, everything goes, and everyone looks over their shoulders to not get played.
