Great thread. Once you get sugar out of your system it's actually pretty easy to avoid diabeetus foods, though once you cross back over it's easy to fall right back into it. Once your body gets used to drinking water, you'll be giving juices the stinkface. Even when we have juice in the fridge, my daughter still goes for cups of water over more than half the time.
As long as you don't cut it with any high fructose corn syrup juices imo. I'd also recommend using kefir over yogurt. Everything in moderation is the name of my game.
Cutting sugar sounds cool, but cutting it out totally is damn near impossible. I think there should be a little leeway allowed. I think this way it would encourage more people to get and stay on board with it. For people that already are diet conscious they can go hardcore, but for people that consume sodas and candy bars everyday, I would think they should try and ease into it unless they think they can go cold turkey, and in this case more power to them.
Helping more people get to a manageable intake goal and building from there >>> just a small group of people going extra hard with their diet routines for a month
I might be in on this...... This is dope!
Smoothies count?
