I had a tooth extracted so I'm on day 5 w/o any real artificial sugar. I mean I basically substituted it with soft foods like pudding and those Bolthouse Farms smoothies.

It's better than eating candy and processed cake snacks but you can't really not eat sugar.

just check mfp & according to it on Thursday I only ate 3 grams of sugar :ohhh: I try to do low carb most days :manny:

but what about things like sugar free jello, or quest protein bars. does that count as sugars since technically they have no sugar but it got other sweeteners :ohhh:

I’m glad you all are finding success here! So much truth to be found in this thread.

I personally have a slightly differing opinion. I’m 34 and maintain 12-15% body fat year round. No I don’t ascribe to any of these dogmatic ideologies when it comes to dieting.

The body needs what it needs in my opinion. I never drink soda and don’t eat desserts besides once a week MAYBE.

For me, it’s OD to even consider bushing stupid shyt that naturally contains sugar or is produced with a modicum of sugar.

Movement flexibility and weight training seem to suit me well but I hope you all find success on your quest to healthier lives

shyt be sneaky as hell!
I cook for my mom. She’s healthy so I try and make sure she doesn’t take in too much of those white powders: sodium and sugar.

But grocery shopping can seem like chemical warfare. Sugar is in every damn thing. It sneaks in!

OP it sounds silly but you might get some crack withdrawals. I remember a science teacher telling me waaaay back in the day that a lot of people who swear by that cup of coffee first thing in the morning aren’t addicted to caffeine. Rather they are addicted to sugar.

Have ya’ll seen how much sugar is in one of those Starbucks frappchino mocha choca latte Caramel macchiato breakfast desserts?!!:damn:
