I saw it as 4 dope emcees from different generations (really 3 rappers cause Big only has one line while the other 3 have about 6 each). The fact that some people have problems seing newer generations compared to older generations is on them. I'm sure some oldies would be mad to see Nas and Rakim on the same billboard in the 90s as well.

Drake is considered to be one of the dopest of the late 2000s to now, Nas of the mid 90s to early 2000s and Rakim of the 80 to early 90s. That was how I saw it, you dudes might see a conspiracy though .

I also think that if Drake wasn't endorsed, we might've seen Kendrick on that board for all I know.

Yes but Adele's last album sold what, 11 million? Eminem sold over ten million twice. DMX sold 5-6 mill, Jay had an album sell like 6mill, Nelly had an album sell like 8 mill, Outkast went diamond, Pac went diamond, Biggie went diamond.

There's absolutely no question that the hip-hop artists of the past had a larger fanbase even in considering piracy/streaming they still had a bigger fanbase. It is what it is.
