Man that nikka don't go outside and I guarantee he's a token.wrong on all counts.. nothing militant about my post. "afrobeat being summer white girl music" is a dead ass giveaway that you don't interact with people outside the internet. Ed Sheeran running anyones summer is tragic![]()
here come the diaspora war brehs...Top of the ant hill
R&B dead

fukk is u even talking abouthere come the diaspora war brehs...
I'm out

I'd say this was the opposite of the Nas X shyt.Should the album get the Lil Nas X treatment, and boosted out that category?
Valid point. I think there is an Adult Contemporary R&B category, where some of the more traditional and older R&B artist are likely placed.
Yeah. In some ways yes.
you better get use to it.It only took em 80 fukking years for ONE fukking song
"Afrobeat takeover" tho![]()

The hip hop stations in New York play "Fall" like 3 times an hour
....we in a new era right now....you better get use to it.
Afrobeat is more popular than r&b worldwide. It's only a matter of time before it overtakes r&b over here
btw, I don't even consider this Rotimi dude Afrobeats
I can't see it overtsking R&B in the U.S. for maybe 20 - 25 years, but no doubt Afrobeats is here to stay....can't think of any reason why it would become less popular. It use to be American/African American culture was being delivered to other places, but now other places cultures are influencing the U.S., I think it's Africa's moment on the music end.The hip hop stations in New York play "Fall" like 3 times an hour
afrobeat is not r&b tho... should have it's own spot
