Where did i say u can hoop at a serious level? I didnt. Its parallel to my statement that soccer isnt something u can just pick up and play. It takes time to learn the tekkers of the game and its something u need to learn at an early age just to be decent. Basketball is easy to pick up and play at any age and if your tall enough, u have an advantage
Breh, no random nikka with limited experience is killing nikkas at Basketball. It takes years of practice and work, feel for the game, etc to be good at just a HS level. Not even college or higher, D1 level. Being a pro is another level altogether and a NBA player is the pinnacle.

Its similar for soccer. To be a MLS player, you gotta be one of the best in the country, that's not easy to do. Its extremely difficult. Much less Europe upper leagues and then Europa or Champions League level of play. The shyt David Alaba is capable of, if you saw him against pub league guys, he would look like Pele on roids. shyt, I played soccer with semi pro players in America and they run circles around the average player I grew up around. Athletically, they are good at Basketball too. They are just tremendous athletes and these nikkas are just semi pros. nikkas underrate how athlete mfers are in these sports.

Hockey will never be popular because its a cold sport that alienates majority of the country, and its dumb expensive to play.
The best thing to ever happen for hockey popularity in America is rocket power having street hockey
My boy went way back in time for this one

I played both sprots. Basketball up to junior year HS and soccer up to age 16. I can tell u, basketball came easy and natural to me. Soccer, while i was ok at it, was hard and inconsistent. Aint nobody gonna tell me otherwise that soccer is easy and boring or takes no talent at all

I don’t think people quite understand that soccer is played primarily with your feet, whilst incorporating other body parts, whereas basketball is played only with your hands.

Humans evolved to be naturally coordinated at handling things. As infants, we navigate the world around us by picking things up and throwing them down. As a result, learning how to handle a basketball (catching, throwing, dribbling, and shooting) is naturally going to be much easier than using a body part that is much further away from our centre of mass, and not designed to handle anything

Just go out and try this for yourselves. Tell me if it’s easier juggle a soccer ball, or dribble a basketball. Tell me if it’s easier to dribble a soccer ball at full speed (whilst keeping the ball close to your body) or dribble a basketball.

Soccer is a very technically dense game. Much more so than basketball. There’s just so many facets of the game to train from a technical standpoint that basketball can’t quite possibly compare. Just kicking a ball is so technically dense. There’s so many different techniques of passing with just the inside of the food. There’s ways to make it bounce as it travels, dip when it arrives at the receivers feet, curve, spin, pace, which foot to pass it to, where in the space should it be etc. this is just one very niche style of passing. Wait till you get into other forms of kicking (shooting, advanced passing, volleying etc.) … and that’s JUST kicking. Then you have the harder skills to learn: dribbling, first touch, and ball control …

The game is unimaginably dense from a technical standpoint that its an impossible game to master. No one does every single thing great.
This is wrong. Both are extremely technical games. All you gotta do is go to the hood and see that nikkas without technical ability isn't a useful nikka when it's time to play HS ball much less college ball. You don't know enough about both sports. I do and I'll tell you both are extremely difficult sports and it depends on your physical makeup and body type which is easier for you for short and long term.

Same could be said for either sport.

I have always gotten the feeling that it is the most accessible sport.

All u need is a ball and two objects to make a goal. Only bball is the closest to being accessible even in 3rd world countries.
And there is almost no physical requirements to be competent at it. Messi is like 5'5 , 150lbs and he is their GOAT.:skip:

Do you really believe soccer is harder than Basketball?

Yes. Why wouldnt i? Do u really believe its easier to pass a soccer ball 20 yards up the field then pass a basket ball 20 yards up the court? U think its easier to dribble and shoot with your feet then your hands? If so, ur unique as fukk.

You need to play FIFA Street to fully appreciate what's possible.
