Allen Iverson wasn't a bad shooter he just took too many questionable shots. But to even be his size getting those shots off (in the era of the big two guards with Kobe Vince TMac Ray even Jordan early in his career) was to be admired. From about 98 til about 05 the leagues was Iverson. Yeah Kobe had the rings but Iverson had the love of the fans. Back then i guarantee you it would have been 70% Iverson if u would ask who was better. Kobe shooting 45% percent for his career, Chuck just under 43%, so people can't keep sayiing Iverson couldn't shoot he was just 6'0 160 pounds running arouund just to get a shot off. Kobe's gonna end up with superior numbers and the "purists" are going to shyt on Iverson in a historical sense. Especially all of the player efficiency guru's. But from there rookie year on till about the 05-06 season when Bean averaged 35 (A.I. still was putting up 33 a game, his best season ever just was overshadowed by Kobe's dominance), Allen Iverson was undeniably better than Kobe Bryant in my eyes.

:laff: :laff:

What did Iverson do better than Kobe? :what:

Was he a better shooter?

Better post player?

Better rebounder?

Better defender?

Better slasher?

Better finisher?

Was he a better scorer?

Was he a better playmaker?

:wtf:

A.I is still my favorite basketball player after Jordan but come on it's not a comparison anymore I may not really like Kobe but he's still in the league considered one of the top 3 to 5 players in the league meanwhile Chuck is somewhere downing a bottle of Grey Goose, stealing checks overseas, getting kicked out of casino's and paying child support.

From 97-03 I would give it too A.I but Kobe perfected his game to the point people compare him to the g.o.a.t

if A.I would have modified his game, worked on trusting his teammates, took better care of his body, practiced

he may still be in the league now.

On a side he wasn't a jack like some of ya'll make him to be but he didn't make anyone around him better or worse either. A.I was a stats guy and his stats were amazing aside from the :eh: shorting percentage still one of the greatest to ever play the game but he's not in the league anymore for a reason.

Kobe stans falling for the okey doke once again. You calling AI an inefficient chucker when your comparing his numbers to Kobe, is the same argument used against Kobe when comparing his number to Jordan.

:why: You were wrong when you were on the playground as a kid in 2002 saying this, and you're even more so wrong ten years later in 2012. Let it go.
