I'd say my top 5 would be Dre, RZA, Primo, Havoc & Neptunes as these have undeniable classic projects but ALC would def be top ten

Maybe strictly talking album wise no, but he's in my top 3 and my personal favorite, and he has classic songs

Prodigy - Keep It Thoro
Cam'ron - Wet Wipes
Slaughterhouse - Michrophone
Mobb Deep - Thug Muzik
Jadakiss - We Gon' Make It

the list goes on

and just for entertainment sake and because i've heard 98% of Al's music released, i'll post some lesser known but still dope songs someone may not know, someone may like them

Alc at his best, is better then anyone cept Primo and maybe RZA. His flagship beats are fukking astonishing :wow:

If you're comparing him to GOATs like Primo and Pete, then yeah, he might fall short sometimes. His sound has also evolved far beyond what they do, and he's arguably better than ever, which no one can say for Primo and Pete...

I guess if you look at those new underground NY albums, like Statik Selektah curated stuff that usually have Premier, Pete, Large Pro and ALC, a case can be made. But i feel like, ALC does more regular work, and more meaningful work, outside of those projects...
