Nah

10 years ago the same thing happened. A lot of us older brehs were hyping up Bradley and Altidore as they were among the stars on that team. Freddy Adu, Sal Zizzo, Danny Szetela, Robbie Rogers, etc. That group beat Brazil team with David Luiz, Pato after he signed with Milan and looked like he was next, Willian, and Marcelo. Then they beat an Uruguay team with Luis Suarez and Edinson Cavani in the knockout stages.

My point is u20 success don't mean shyt. Pulisic is the truth but your best player shouldn't be 18.

This was supposed to be the generation they played really good football at that tournament but besides Bradley and Altidore they all flamed out.

I really thought this group had next especially after they beat some team 5-1 and then beat Brazil. What a disappointment

Not even Jozy could make in Europe. He was good in Eriedvisie but was straight trash at Sunderland.

49ers..Braves..Celtics
Exactly. Final of the Confed cup, 2 concacaf titles, 2 knockout round appearances in the WC with fukking Michael Bradley running your mid field abd Jozy Altidore at striker.:mjlol:

Compare that to teams like England and Argentina with world class players at every position who accomplish nothing either

US is in a transition phase. Its time to role with the young guys.

A transition from what? A top 25 team to a..... top 25 team? :mjlol:

we ain't shyt and never gon be shyt untl we get young brehs in soccer and out of football :myman:

I used to wonder how the heel isn't the US competing for WCs and having players all over the top leagues in Europe. It is the most multicultural, western, industrialized country. You literally have everybody from everywhere in America but I realized that being a wealthy country brings a lot of options. There are too many lucrative sports leagues in the US for kids just dedicate their time to football.

Don't worry - in a couple decades when all the would-be NFL'ers start playing soccer at 6 instead of football, we'll have a freakishly talented USMNT. Granted, our Sunday afternoons in the fall will be boring as fukk, but hey, we'll be good at soccer
