His run was crazy
And Wayne is prime could go bar for bar with anybody in their prime
Plus I think he has a classic album (carter 2) and probably a couple classic mixtapes
He birthed a lot of these new rappers

So I would probably put him in my top 10

he gets an automatic berth near the bottom of my top 50 based off his impact/influence/longevity.

thats the most i can do for him.

I'm aware they've been around longer than he has. But as far as taking other rappers' beats and turning them into essentially his own songs? I personally think Wayne has to take credit for that.

:what:

That's what I voted as well. Because, all things considered, you can't have a serious conversation about anything rap related for the past ten years without talking about Wayne.

OP asked where wayne ranks ALL-TIME.

not just the past 10 years.

nikkas always try to act like Wayne made some epic impact on Hip Hop. Who has he influenced? What has he contributed to the scene?

He's a decent artist but he's overhyped

influenced: Kendrick, Drake, any rapper that came up off the mixtape game so basically almost every relevant rapper today is Wayne's son

i know its the cool thing to do to hate on wayne on here but to question weather he
had a impact or not or his influence especially on the mixtape scene is just flatout wrong.

Are you gonna deny the influence Wayne's mixtapes had on the game? Yeah 50 had a great mixtape run, but what Wayne did was on a whole nother level imo

nikkas love rewriting history:heh:

So 50 didn't design the mixtape blueprint now?:wtf:

Let me guess, you nikkas from the South right?:camby:
