GTA 4 is one of my favorite games of all time, I thought the characters, story, DLC were all elite. 5 was very forgettable for me

Gta V had a few gimmicks like the submersible that didn’t actually change any gameplay it was just do this do that and it basically held your hand in every mission.

With the an even more boring gameplay loop than what you just described.

At least there was an element of challenge in GTA IV and the story had me invested.

GTA V was funny but a very shallow experience.

Dan Houser himself put Niko as his favorite character next to Authur Morgan. This is why I was really disappointed in GTA 5, there just wasn't a strong enough character.

IV is absolutely dreadful for multiple reasons and has by far the most repetitive mission structure in the entire franchise. In some way, I did feel that the world was more "lived in" than GTA V's at times, though.

I don’t think 4 is garbage but i absolutely disliked Niko, I didn’t feel his character

san andreas is my top 10 OAT so I was super excited for 4 & elated when someone gifted it to me. i sold it 2 days later & haven''t played gta since.

4 was super mediocre, and I can't see how everybody looks back on it so fondly.

As I've said before, BOGT is the only good thing about GTAIV.

I think GTA 6 will be the last GTA game that I’m going to ever buy if it ever comes out.
Just imagine how many of us were young as hell when GTA 5 came out and then waiting over a full decade for them to release a new game and you’re not young anymore.
People I knew died before they even got the chance to play GTA 6.
