If this album is significantly better than Oxnard then my theory that Aftermath put too much gloss on his work is valid.

I think B.u.d.d.y. by Musiq soulchildSounds to me like Quik and Paak would make a better combo then he did with Dre.
Also does anyone know the sample on Winners Circle? Not the Bronx tale skit in the beginning but the first couple lines in the first and second verse.
Last but not least, we need a video and some push behind Twilight. Twilight is a classic.
Yooo that's it. shyt was bothering me man, thanks!I think B.u.d.d.y. by Musiq soulchild

Nah not close to me. Malibu had better melodies and straight up bangers due to having hip hop producers involved. It's just a different beast.he really harnessed the r and b gods on this one. fukk it this might be better than malibu

CD finally arrived today, was pleasantly surprised to see that Focus... and Dre mixed the whole album!
When he shouted our Aftermath he mentioned there were only 3 staff members, Dre and 2 other people.
Crazy but dope that Dre is fully independent as an artist now.
