It’s fake and dishonest because he was right there and could’ve showed his appreciation by performing with his brother this one last time instead of having Big Boi looking crazy up there performing their hits with cats who he shouldn’t be performing them with. It would’ve been better if he just didn’t show up. Jay Z is a solo act. Like I said it wouldn’t have been weird if neither one of them performed or if Dre didn’t show up at all. This shyt just looked awkward and weird.

That was in yall head. Nobody tuned in to see a performance. People tuned in to celebrate OutKast, DF and the city of Atlanta and that was accomplished in spades.

I don’t know why you talking about fakeness and dishonesty when the man insisted on sharing the award with all his brothers and thanked them multiple times throughout his speech. His speech was one of the more generous acceptance speeches that I have never seen.

I think he has a right to not want to perform his "old job", but I do see the hypocrisy in showing up to receive the award for it and shout-out Jack White but leaving Big Boi to perform on his own. Would've respected it more if 3K just stayed home

Did you listen to the acceptance speech at all? Did anyone on that stage look mad or upset? It was a night if celebration and the whole DF and city of Atlanta was elated for them boys.

That's not going to fly. You are giving out a participation trophy and that is the issue I have with the whole "he doesn't have a solo album argument". Ya'll giving Prodigy a pass knowing full well nothing in his solo catalog is on par with:

And then you have someone, who has two other albums that are considered classic. Same with Jay. Same with Pac.

Objectively, I can't put Andre 3000 in a Top 10 because he doesn't have a solo on the level of those albums. Andre 3000 did something though that I've seen rappers like Jay Z campaign for: have people call him GOAT without telling us why he should be. He had a feature run where he was one of the hottest MC's in the game. An Andre 3000 verse was an event. Few MC's can say that.

He has verses worthy of a Top 10 spot, so I get the hype.
