no i think working on his mechanics is a more pressing matter right now.If killa Cam would learn to go thru his progressions better and maybe get some decent recievers he would be the automatic Goat tho
But for now Luck is the best
at people still using the "he was asked to do more" excuse for Luck. If he is better than RGIII, as you all are asserting, then that should still be apparent even while being asked to do more. Being asked to do more, in and of itself, doesn't make you better. You have to actually perform at a comparable or superior level while being asked to do more for that to be brought into play. Luck didn't do that. I am pretty sure RGIII could have managed 3 more TDs, 1100 more yds, and 13% lower completion % if asked to throw 200+ more times. RGIII had a higher TD% and lower INT % and avg. more Y/A. That's just passing. RGIII, even coming off an injury, is clearly the better runner. RGIII had a better running game, that he played a pretty big part in BTW. Morris >>> any of Luck's RBs. However, Wayne >>> any of RGIIIs receivers. So let's not act like he had no help.
I guess you didn't watch the playoff game against the Skins last year huh?![]()

BTW, all y'all shyttin on Russ Wilson are crazy. Not only did he comeback vs WAS he came back vs us and almost won the divisional game too. Russ is a beast out there
All respect to the beast Russell Dangerfield but let's keep it real brehs. RG3 was demolishing the almighty Seattle defense on one leg 14-0. Russ couldn't do anything until RG3 finally collapsed and killed the skins momentum. All respect to the beast Russell Dangerfield but let's keep it real brehs. Luck DID do more though. 4th quarter comebacks, calls at the line, pre snap adjustments, going through his progressions. RG3 ran a simplified, zone read offense that relied heavily on play action passes. It's an easy offense to run and he's not asked to throw alot either...he still has to prove he can drop back, read a defense and make plays. He's not at that level yet. Luck is & is a better QB for making alot of those mistakes in his rookie yr.

They were down 14 and they came back to win, period. They damn near came back from down 20 a week later and Russ showed the fukk out. The poster that I was responding to was completely off base.
Once again, being asked to do more, doesn't automatically make you better. Getting a C in and AP class doesn't make you smarter than a kid who got an A+ in a normal class. You can say what you will about RGIIIs offense but he put up special numbers in that offense. If it was so easy why doesn't every team just do it, including the Colts. You don't get extra points for degree of difficulty. It's about making plays and minimizing mistakes, period. 4th qtr comebacks are the most overrated thing ever. Nobody goes into a game looking to have to comeback. Every team comes out looking to get up early and play from ahead. The Colts didn't do that, in great part because of Luck's turnovers. You don't get extra points for fukking up early, either.
the nfc east wasnt so hot last year if you wanna go the division route

Saying 4th quarter comeback's don't mean anything just isn't true. You act like Luck is the reason the Colts had to come back so much, and not their terrible D, o-line, and special teams. The exact same team minus Luck went 2-14. He carried them on his back all season because he had no choice. There was no gimmick offense to be ran, no 1000 yard rusher or Superbowl WInning coach. The Colts made that turn around on the strength of Andrew. And his league-leading and Rookie All-Time record 4th quarter comebacks was one of if not the most impressive stat to be broken by any of the Rookie QB's last year
Luck, he can read a defense. Also he's about to make Fleener a Pro Bowler, that alone gets my vote, I don't see RG3 turning nobodies into overnight celebrities.
you mean the division with the defending SB champs that year?![]()
Being asked to do more, means your team has the confidence in you to do so. You don't get extra points for degrees of difficulty, but you do get more yards, wins, and touchdowns like Luck did
