I don’t know how these things work and you’re right, the public doesn’t care about nuance…. HOWEVER…. Are Air Bus having these issues at the same clip? Or are there just way more Boeings in the sky than Air Buses?

Nope, they have about the same market share. And you are right, less issues with the Airbus at the moment

Airbus seems to be a better run company than Boeing at the moment though, not sacrificing engineering common sense for short term shareholder value

Also, the EU don't play

the ether
No way this is coincidental

Why? There's something like 1000 of these planes in service, many of which have been in service for decades and are poorly maintained due to airline cost-cutting, and 3 of them have had minor issues in the last month, none of which resulted in a crash.

Do you think there was some deliberate ploy to cause an engine problem in one plane and a panel problem in two other planes in order to accomplish....what?

No. Airlines in collaboration with engine manufacturers are responsible for engine maintenance. If it's an engine issue, Boeing is not at fault

Not that the public cares about that nuance though :mjlol:

Do you use cars for transportation?

No it isn't. Well, it probably is to the ignorant public, but otherwise it isn't

You're joking right? You know how many planes took off and landed safely, today? You know how many casualties occurred from plane travel today in the US? Zero

If you have a plane ticket, go ahead and fly. Your chances of survival are extremely excellent, despite recent news.
Airbus planes are safe and Boeing isn’t

They can't buy Airbus planes fast enough. Airbus makes more planes than Boeing. Multiple plants in Europe, along with China, and one in Mobile in the U.S.

lack of regulation and soulless CEOs only wanting "line go up" . Airline industry is YEARS away from recovering from COVID and the suits know that but theyd rather be reactive in expansion vs. spending money preemptively to hire and expand the service, maintenance, and operations departments.
