great answer…nikkas get too carried away in the heat of the moment (I’m sometimes guilty of it too)…and that’s not to say his performance is above criticism
KD gives that same answer in every interview and is called a hoe. But the part of the conference I didn’t like was him saying that they were focused on a title and the Heat were focused on them. The Heat have pedigree as well.

ya I don’t really care…that has nothing to do with me or my point…responding to me with what others may or may not have said doesn’t change my answer…I’ve said the same thing about some of the convos where folks go overboard re: KD’s “legacy” and the exaggerated hot takes folks made

I think he meant it more as a criticism of their own shortsightedness then it was a shot at Miami. Miami was laser focused on the task at hand while Milwaukee thought they were on some “big picture” shyt

It actually does. You didn’t actually make a point from what I read. You simply said he had a good point and nikkas get carried away. And I responded to his point by showing he’s asking for a double standard. This is the same nikka who goes around saying that people who don’t follow his path to winning a ring didn’t do it the right way. He sets a standard for gauging their success or failure. But suddenly it’s all about the process and team building and personal growth.

I didn’t feel like writing a paragraph so I tried to make it simple the first time. The point is that I agree with what Giannis says and say that shyt all the time but people like that answer on here because they like him. Whenever I say that shyt - as I have for like a decade - I’m making excuses. And that is usually how it goes for everyone. If LeBron said that shyt he would be called a hoe as well. There was nothing special about what he said because every star says that shyt every year and gets clowned. I’m not going to create a double standard for him.

That was a colossal failure based on expectations. If I was expected to be in contention to be the new vice president at my job and I fail to pass the initial round of interviews, it would indeed be considered a failure. I’m all for the personal process and goals but either we apply that all the time or never at all. Because by that logic, 99 percent of the posts on the coli about sports are frivolous.

Giannis was healthy, Middelton was healthy, and Holiday was reliable.

Also Giannis was at PEAK confidence during that title run.
nikka i wasnt serious with that question, i saw the same shyt you saw:skip::skip:

there’s nothing to talk back about…bringing up random ppl who said shyt about KD doesn’t change my stance…especially when I’ve spoken up then too…the legacy/failure talks on here are overrated and a symptom of shytty sports journalism and random nikkas online following suit…at the end of the day it’s just nikkas talking shyt…but my feeling regarding it has remained the same no matter the player…if you have a problem with what he said then respond to the clip…randomly bringing up how ppl responded to KD does not address my point

Crowder really made all that noise to not get played much in this series. Funny thing is Suns would have given him tons of mins with their new team.
He needed to go in the KD trade anyway to make the money work iirc
The team that really needed him bad was the Cavs. They wound up with Danny Green who is beyond :flabbynsick:
