Ant is still that dude, and anyone trying to center the scrutiny around what he did or didn't do can't see the forest for the trees. It's difficult for him being the only one who can consistently create his own shot on the team, especially with no playmakers to set him up.

He punished the teams/matchup he should and shot amazing the first two rounds. But I was under no disillusions about the OKC series. JDub really guards him well and Dort, Caruso give up height but thats it. He has to make shots which forces OKC to have to try different things but they are obviously just trying to get the ball at out Ants hands and leave it up to the role players.

Ants lack of rebounding from this game to the last is where I think he can be criticized the most. And that rushed three when they had made 2 straights 3s to get it to 109-106

We saw that today. Game 3 he was relentless and active. This game the gas tank was on E and he was basically coasting the first 2.5 to 3 quarters

At one point i even thought he was intentionally over-relying on his teammates to keep it close, so he could conserve energy to take over in the 4th quarter... but nah, he was just passive and content to be a "decoy"

If Ant could've came up behind an experienced vet-laden squad like it seemed that he would've once upon a time, I think he may have even gone up a half level by this point. Breh is playing with really no PG, a useless Gobert, a slightly useless Randle, and they're just now playing TSJ, who's apparently one of their 5 best offensive players lol.

I would've liked to see the timeline where they kept that pre-Gobert team together.

It’s a shame they traded KAT already. If I was Minnesota, I would’ve traded KAT plus whatever they wanted (within reason) to get Giannis.
