You really believe okc has been playing at a godly level that they can’t be beaten in the finals?

I don't think NY has a shot at it. I think Indy could do it, but a LOT has to go right for that.

And as much of a longshot as it is... Minnesota isn't done until OKC wins one more.

Either way, I would be surprised if OKC lost a series to anyone left in the field.

Shai has better spacing to work with. Ant constantly has to stretch the defense out himself because the frontcourt doesn't.
Eh our spacing sucks we starting 2 bigs( which sucks) and dort. Shai just that get and going to get there regardless

Yeah taking fouls on purpose just kills the momentum, flow and vibes of games. They didn’t want the wolves to get open looks and have the opportunity to tie the game. In general, I understand why teams do it, they want to slow down the game and prevent the opposing team from getting on a huge scoring run but it’s such an annoying tactic.

Every team should have an opportunity to run their offense and make an attempt. Isn't that the whole point of the game. Offense and defense. Fouling up 3 is some p*ssy shyt. You shouldn't be able to bytch out of having to play defense. They should make it illegal in the final minute. 1 ft and out of bounds.

It doesn't take anything from them if they win the ship. You only face who gets put in front of you. Would that 2011/12 Heat team win the ship this year? Yes they would. They also got completely washed by the Mavs the previous year. Is Shai a better player than Westbrook yes he is. I don't care that Westbrook had triple doubles every night and was dominating. At the end of it he was a loser because he suffered from a low IQ and making dumb plays down the stretch. Besides KD, Shai has established himself as the 2nd best thunders player ever. If you include the Supersonics in that conversation he's probably established himself above Gary Payton too.

Yea, plus while it's too early to say how OKC would play against other champions, since they haven't crossed that finish line to earn that right for comparisons.

let's also not falsely glorify the past champions with the passage of time and ignore the conveniences they had in their favor.

For example, the 2012 Heat defended a KD team that had far worse spacing compared to what the 2025 Thunder have. shyt bigs too, and we saw the impact everyone from a Tyson Chandler to a Roy Hibbert had on those small ball Heatle teams that sacrificed size for spacing.

Also, remember what i was sayin to some brehs the other day about Ant lacking the motor of an SGA or a prime Russ?

We saw that today. Game 3 he was relentless and active. This game the gas tank was on E and he was basically coasting the first 2.5 to 3 quarters

At one point i even thought he was intentionally over-relying on his teammates to keep it close, so he could conserve energy to take over in the 4th quarter... but nah, he was just passive and content to be a "decoy"

3 years younger than SGA....it took SGA 7 seasons to figure it out (ANT's on his 5th season)

I think Denver messed up Jokic’s chance at a 2nd chip by firing Malone. It looks like that Denver vs OKC series was the real finals.
