I figured he'd opt in due to the cap dropping next year. But if it's staying the same, this make sense. I know folks are talking about 1 and 1s and 2 and 1s but with the uncertainty surrounding the cap going forward, I'd take the full 5 year guarantee. Hopefully everything is back to normal in 5 years and then he can just do it again at 32.

I wonder what the free agent class of 2021 will do since the cap likely won’t be any better next year.

Personally, I think they are making a huge mistake in delaying the season until a viable vaccine is create. It’s not going to happen until sometime next year (that’s being generous). That’s not even counting the time that it will take for it to be mass produced to allow thousands of fans into an indoor arena again.

Dwight should have went to GS in the first place. He still has/had the talent to produce, but a lot of teams let the negative reputation stop them from signing him. It’s still never been exactly explained what problems does Dwight bring to a team that caused him to keep getting traded.

Kuzma’s trade market is rather iffy seeing as he’s still on his rookie contract. He also didn’t help matters with how he performed last year. There’s also the issue of needing filler to attach with his contract to facilitate a trade. I would assume that Green would be the likely option.

Rondo and Dwight are priority we need them back imo. If KCP goes to ATL for a payday then Godspeed and thanks for your services :wow:

I only want Kuz and DG gone for the right parts that’ll help us repeat next season.

Yeah I see KCP bouncing if a team throws a bag at him. It’ll be well deserved. But yeah bringing back Dwight and Rondo is a must.

To be honest, that wouldn’t really them much of a return in a trade seeing how disappointing both performed last season.
