Barring him wanting too much money, shouldn't KCP be the greater priority? Rondo and Dwight are just backups for Bron and AD at this point. KCP is the kind of player that every team covets (which may indeed contribute to him wanting too much money) and is a perfect fit next to the big 2.

Yeah he was drafted in 2013. That was the year Ben McLemore was supposed to come in and have next. I think he was drafted right after Ben too.

I can Dipo going to the Lakers and taking the gamble that he can get healthy again. I don’t get the move for Indy though as they could more than Kuzma/DG for Dipo. Unless LA is throwing a late first into the deal as well.

I’m assuming that KCP is gonna ask for a high number so I’m not sure I’d want to tie too much money into him. Rich fukked his money up years back and that’s why we kept signing him to wild ass numbers for his lack of production. So my guess is that he’s gonna try to cash out. But there’s mutual interest in resigning so that’s good and one of the advantages of the Bron/Rich/Klutch/Lakers connection.

Rob proved to be better than we thought and Rich can orchestrate shyt if need be. They both had a hand in putting this team together so I think Rob and Rich will figure it out.

Yeah true, but that still doesn’t mean that it will next them a decent role player in return that will be better than both of those players combined.

We’ll see what it nets us. As of now we’re the defending champs on a premiere franchise. It’s plenty of players that would force there way to that. Plenty of players that’d take paycuts.

Wheyhet that happens or not we’ll see but it’s not like we’re working from a position of total disadvantage. There was already a four team deal with Dipo to the Lakers rumored during the bubble. And that’s just Dipo. It’s other guys starting to get long in the tooth that need to make a move or go be a journeyman ring chaser later.
