KCP to the Hawks would be a dope move for them and he's from Georgia so I can see why he would be interested.

Trae
KCP
Hunter
Collins
Capela

that's a playoff team

I'm forever a KCP fan. wherever he goes, im rocking with him :salute:
Has he reached Ariza status for you or was there too much negative before this year for that :jbhmm:

We’ll see what it nets us. As of now we’re the defending champs on a premiere franchise. It’s plenty of players that would force there way to that. Plenty of players that’d take paycuts.

Wheyhet that happens or not we’ll see but it’s not like we’re working from a position of total disadvantage. There was already a four team deal with Dipo to the Lakers rumored during the bubble. And that’s just Dipo. It’s other guys starting to get long in the tooth that need to make a move or go be a journeyman ring chaser later.

Millsap could potentially be one of those ring chasers since he’s likely not going back to Denver. If it’s Dipo, then I could see Lakers taking the gamble, although I’m not when/if Dipo can go back to the player he was previously. They better hope that another team doesn’t swoop in with a better offer than they can’t match.

Rondo and Dwight are priority we need them back imo. If KCP goes to ATL for a payday then Godspeed and thanks for your services :wow:

I only want Kuz and DG gone for the right parts that’ll help us repeat next season.

Call me crazy but I REALLY feel like resigning KCP needs to be a priority. Dude really balled out under pressure during the finals and the type of trust that builds amongst teammates is needed during a “normal” 82 game season and playoffs.

I’m not saying overpay him i’m saying REALLY try to come favorable terms, let him know he’s valued, etc. He’s worth more than a “Thanks for your services see ya down the road Space Cowboy”

KCP forever good in the Laker ‘hood. Went from most hated to out top role player. If he leaves to ATL they better give my breh the fukkin bag. Enough for him to ride off into the sunset.

No role player will ever reach Ariza status for me

:wow:

Kupwoat not re-signing him was a terrible move.

"bu bu but Ron had a great game 7" dude was woat his entire Lakers tenure and even that series he was trash. If we had Ariza in 2010, we win in 5 or 6.

Atlanta has the cap the just outright sign him don’t they?

word but there involvement is sign and trade..and i think both dg and kcp end up there.. with kuz and bunch of picks (from la and ind) ending up in indiana.

also just read that ind might trade turner and there pick for wiggins and the number 2... indian looks to be ready for the rebuild.

Throw in that Minny pick and it’s a deal for Indy. Mainly because Wiggins contract is terrible and will require multiple sweeteners to take on.

I’m not keen on gettin Dipo either just because I dunno what kinda player he’s gonna be plus he ain’t prove enough for me to push chips in the middle of the table for him.

Like I said, if his price is too high then we can’t fade it. I’d love to keep him he’s our best role player but gotta be realistic. We’ve got other players to resign too. KCP was on prove it deals every year with us making back the money Rich lost him so now he has a chance to cash out. This is one of those situations where I’m happy for him if he goes to get the bag or stays with us. ATL is a nice spot if he wants to go there and get paid crazy money. If he went to a rival tho I’d be hot :russ:

He only has one year left on the deal, but I’m not sure what their cap space looks like next year to know if they can afford someone if he walks or if they would even want to throw the bag to resign him long term.
