Philly bouls, Trust the Process
I see more Oladipo and Donovan Mitchell. Edwards has superstar talent, but who knows if he'll get there.

At 6'5" 225lbs he's super strong for a guard, and tested as a 99th percentile accelerator and decelerator with a big time vert. He's a strait freak athlete. Add in he's got pull-ups and step-backs in his arsenal and that he's new to basketball, it's obvious how one could see him being a superstar in the NBA.

That being said, his decision making in particular is pretty suspect, and his intensity on the court wavered. He settled too often for jumpers, and only offered a 1:1 A:TO. While he shot them on high volume, he only made 29% of his 3s. If his shot and decision making don't improve it'd be reasonable to think he ends up just a microwave scorer kind of guy and never reaches his ceiling.

I think that ceiling is worth the gamble at #1 though in a weak draft.

At best, he’ll be an Oladipo clone, but most likely, he will pan out to be similar to Dion waiters, hopefully better.

Couple 15ppg seasons early on, but will have commitment/dedication issues that will hurt his potential and value

I’d roll the dice with Edwards before I would with Melo or Wiseman.

You have to trust your culture tho

Sounds like Wiggins to me. Imensely talented, great athlete, dominated largely due to athleticism. Unclear how often he actually gives a shyt, can't really shoot but supposedly has a decent form. I'm forever off guys that don't seem to care all that much.
More passion for Hoops

The issue with guys like that at times aren't that they're 'busts', it's that they have to be paid and treated like superstars but aren't good enough at other elements of the game to win like one. I love KAT but right now he only affects the game by scoring (actually that's not quite true but still...). You end up with guys like Wiggins. Or even a better version of that guy like a DeRozan Beal or something who can score but don't really drive winning that much. They'd be great as a #2 behind a really great player or even just a good leader but you're not winning a title with them as your franchise guy but they're too good for you to let them go so teams end up kind of stuck for 7 years until they move on OR they get some real talent around them.
Actually I don't know why the hell I just wrote a paragraph acting like having a guy that can get buckets is a bad thing. I'm done
Yeah bruh i feel where you are coming from though. It's always a chance you draft the next Dion Waiters if you take him but if he you pass on him and he turns into Wade lite or a Mitchell type then you are regretting that for years on end.

How so?

Who you got being the best player out this draft?
Maybe not a bust but even just his star potential is looking really shaky. Volume scorer who over relies on his jumper. No elite NBA skills and low bball IQ. Dudes sucking his dikk because l..l..look at his run jump athleticism. Not saying he couldn't be good but to me he is meh. I would take melo or Wiseman over him.

Bust potential is very high. Him being a Klutch guy makes it even higher

Undersized, athletic 2-guard that can’t pass and can’t shoot. Dion Waiters, Austin Rivers, Fultz, take your pick

Unless they are lying about his height how is 6'5 undersized. All the guys you listed are 6'3
