Do you think someone in the U.S. whose making $60K is ready to pay 50% in taxes like in the Scandinavian countries?
They also dont have inheritance taxes...amongst other taxes that the Bernie types want to add.

people are asking for these corporate dems and corporate republicans to get the boot completely. of course we all know this would not happen over night. but that is the true ask. get rid of all corporate dems and corporate repubs. and put in people that understand capitalism alone isnt bad but that it needs to be held in check and that check is the government. a big company making 100's of millions of dollars to billions does not need the government to give it even more corporate welfare. they are doing just fine. the companies need protection from one another more so than protections from regular joes and janes.

Libertarians got their wake up call when Ron Paul ran, and proceeded to run third party every election after. Progressives/socialist/communist will accept this truth eventually.
Neither the DNC or GoP is interested in seeing an end to the two party system... and they wont let it happen from inside their ranks.

Joe Biden touches women inappropriately and cant remember whats going on, and they flung him ahead of what has been beautiful campaign by Bernie.:mjlol: Ya'll gone learn.

You're right. Lets get nuanced. Let's ask ourselves why Cuba (a country the article cites), despite the HUGE sanctions against it from the West, somehow has a better healthcare system and education system than the United States...aka the largest economy in the world and "the richest country in the world."
