Well I'm talking about extremely big dudes that need to focus on loosing the weight first and then worry about gaining or retaining muscle, lifting weights alone isn't going to help fasten their weight loss progress.
Weight lighting can be great for weight Loss. stop promoting lies

My biggest issue with getting into working out is creating a set workout and diet plan to gain weight. Making a diet plan seems hard af and I'm not trying to pay a personal trainer a stack right out the gate to help me with something I might be able to figure out online. Forums outside of TLR aren't really active though so I'm not sure if I posted the physique I wanted to attain if it would help.

Question for the gym brehs -
I've gained some fat from being..well...lazy. ive been getting back into it lately but I'm tryna rid that fat ASAP. Can't be out here with the puffy face.

My plan was lift 3x week, cardio 2x, intermittent fasting (not g enough for 16:8 yet. Thinking 14:10 or sum) with very little carbs, mostly vegetables and proteins.

I'm excited bout this cause I found a good way to roast mad vegetables at once :banderas:

Sound decent to my gym brehs? Am I going too hard or not hard enough?

Blanket answer is that it should work but there are a lot of variables there we don't know.

I wouldn't worry about the IF honestly.

you need to be doing more cardio than 2 times a week if you want to lose weight.

What you mean, like genetics, my alcohol consumption, diet, sleep etc? or something else?
That plus more. For example we don't know
  • How much weight/fat you are trying to lose.
  • How intense your cardio and lifting is relative to the above.
Point being, that training plus lowering calories generally works but there are caveats. Start with what yu are planning and just start tracking progress.
