:salute: best advise for going to the gym if youre fat is........... just go.

Don't worry about form, frequency or any of that shyt. It'll work itself out.

Dudes be sooo concentrated on googling supplements, routines, plans, and they ain't even hit the gym yet.:heh:

I got back into hitting the gym consistently for the last 2 months and now I know what works for my body.

Cardio makes my erections better too:smugdraper:

No joke gym life should be a lifestyle not temporary shyt.

It really relieves stress. No matter how annoyed I am at work, I think of getting off and hitting the gym like

"I don't give a fukk what business process yall talking about I'm but to hit the gym, yall done yet?:dame:"
Word..it's motivating because when you're lifting and your veins are bulging and shyt ...I'm tryna look that even outside the gym.

Broads see them veins and go :queen:..

White dudes get weird though:dame:

If a dude is gonna compliment you on your arms and veins showing it's gonna be a white dude:dame:

If you're black and don't stay in shape or hit the weights take this L

Something has always stuck with me..

In high school me and my korean homie took weightroom for gym..I remember we couldn't bench 135..that was the standard..to lift those 45s..
2 weeks after started I was throwing it up.

I remember he told me and my homie that

"Man fukking black dudes get stronger fast"

:wow:

Then At my last job me and a 55 yr old breh who lifts 5 days a week worked the truck lifting mad boxes..when the white dudes would do it they'd complain and always get injuries and shyt

Stop wasting that African blood and hit the gym:ufdup:

And yes I started lifting again and I'm feeling myself but the point remains:mjgrin:

Crazy how this thread was created around the same time I was signing up for a gym membership :wow:.

I stopped going and working out for like five years due to depression but I'm back at it again :takedat:.

I have always had the idea that most people were in shape cause I use to spend way too much time on social media. Truth is actually most people is out of shape, and I know that by working in a office or looking around outside in general. The ratio of Fit/Healthy people to flabby and sick looking people is crazy:scust:

My biggest issue with getting into working out is creating a set workout and diet plan to gain weight. Making a diet plan seems hard af and I'm not trying to pay a personal trainer a stack right out the gate to help me with something I might be able to figure out online. Forums outside of TLR aren't really active though so I'm not sure if I posted the physique I wanted to attain if it would help.

Going off the title, technically , of all the races black men are probably the least likely to need the gym

I've had a six pack and horse shoe triceps since before puberty . My first time benching i hit the 35s multiple times and moved to 45s a couple of weeks later. Weighing 155 I was hitting 2 plates on both sides by senior year max out. Ain't no asian cats I know doing anything like that . And I wasn't even all that strong, nikkas in Crenshaw were doing 2 plates each by 15 and running a 4.5. :damn:

First time i touched a weight i was looking like ascending saiyin vegeta in a week lmao
i went to the gym before i realized it was a waste of time, most of the people in there ain't even in shape, they do the same exercises over and over again and wonder why still the same

you can work out at your house 15-30 minutes a day to get in great shape, lifting weights also a waste a time unless you doing isometric exercises, strengthening your joints and tendons is more important than having big muscles, shyt improves your coordination and everything
i remember I had a hard time generating power with the left hook, I knew the technique and everything i just couldn't do it right simply because I wasn't coordinated enough in my left arm, once everything around my shoulders was tighten up i could throw heavy shots without trying even hook off the jab with power

To anyone thinking about starting that gym life but don't know where to start and what to do at the gym, my advice is follow the Stronglifts 5X5 program. This is where it all started for me and looking back, i can honestly say it saved my life with no exaggeration. What i love about it is that it's made for beginners and it's super simple. I would say it's almost foolproof and addictive. I couldn't wait to get back to the gym cause i knew exactly which lifts i was about to hit, what weight, etc. Funny thing is, I wouldn't even say it's the most efficient plan. But it will get you to the gym. Submit to it for 3 months (follow the lifting plan exactly as it's laid out) snd then throw it in the bushes if you feel like it. You will definitely lose some weight if you are a chubby guy. I barely changed my diet and still lost weight (matter of fact i was probably eating more food overall). The app makes it even more easy.

I swear i should get paid the way i talk about the program.
