If you're a big dude I'd start off with daily exercise/running/jogging along with eating less calories before hitting the actual gym reason being if you go to the gym with all that weight it's gonna be hard using the equipment.

The gym is for people that aren't extremely bad off but want to maintain a certain fitness, don't go to the gym thinking the equipment alone will erase your problems...you gotta shed some of that weight on your own terms first beforehand.

That isn't a valid reason to not lift. If a person is committed to making that part of their regimen that why wait? It's always going be hard, no need to delay starting a foundation. Long term its probably the better move for ideal body composition as well. Getting nutrition in order is paramount but no need not to lift if you can and want to.

If you're black and don't stay in shape or hit the weights take this L

Something has always stuck with me..

In high school me and my korean homie took weightroom for gym..I remember we couldn't bench 135..that was the standard..to lift those 45s..
2 weeks after started I was throwing it up.

I remember he told me and my homie that

"Man fukking black dudes get stronger fast"

:wow:

Then At my last job me and a 55 yr old breh who lifts 5 days a week worked the truck lifting mad boxes..when the white dudes would do it they'd complain and always get injuries and shyt

Stop wasting that African blood and hit the gym:ufdup:

And yes I started lifting again and I'm feeling myself but the point remains:mjgrin:

Man yall really be wylin with these gym thread titles. :mjlol:

How you lift that 135 in two weeks
Could've been a little more..but I was lifting 5 days doing pushups at home 250 a day.

@O Fenômeno I want to start but I don’t know how to do the exercises properly and how to start off :patrice:
I mean you might want to look into 5×5 program and hit up the brehs in GYM subforum.

Watching videos of exercises helps and most machines at a good gym gives you step by step how to work the machines.

Also even just simply cardio helps. Don't even gotta run just walk everyday. Or do jump rope
