damn breh 231 was alot on you? I'm only 5'8, 190 and I'm still on the slim, muscular side :patrice: when I was at 200 earlier this year, I still wasn't fat, was most of the weight in your stomach? Had that pot belly?

If I didn't take control, I would have gotten there. I still look in shape at 231 but I wasn't. At 205, I look lean and fit which is what my ideal weight is. I am built like a ball player..long arms n legs.

fukk a gym wish I had a threadmill at the house

One of my friends had it like that he used to run 30 minutes every morning before going to school

bytches was on him and he told us that was his secret, working out in the morning gave him confidence and also he was prolly the only nikka in the school who worked out before school

Sounded silly, but after I tried for a month he was right.

fukk lifts all I need is a threadmill

Won't front ..I cant even hit them 35s 5 times

But in high school playing football 45s was the standard like damn near it should be a warmup if you wasn't hitting em you was weak and getting clowned.

You got a grace period if you started lifting in the spring but by summer you better had got on it:ufdup:
U can’t bench 135???

real talk.. i'm about to make the switch to calisthenics/body excersizes. just dont have the drive to be there and share equipment

Once you get stable or into the maintenence phase not necessarily cutting or bulking working you can work out anywhere without an issue. If your cutting or bulking you may be tied to certain workouts or machines so you know exactly when and where to go, if someone throws a cog in the wheel and is like "hey come to this gym and workout" you gotta be on your toes and see what machines they have and how you can incorporate your workout at that gym. Consistency is the key to success, so it's not bad to know which machines and where to go and at what times but once you get to that maintenence stage the world is your oyster.

I used to live by a workout park, it had a trail and different stations like push-ups, curl ups, pull ups. I remember going through the park and looking at the pull up bars like ":lupe:one day" I wasnot strong enough and I was embarrassed to be honest. Now I hit up local school playgrounds and do pull ups on the monkey bars and a lot of my local schools have fitness parks with pull up bars and pushup stations, I'm there so much in spring and summer, fall that I wonder if someone thinks I'm creeping on kid's, minus the fact that if they watch me they can see me entering, working my ass off then leaving .

Real talk, fukk the gym.

Workout at home or anywhere. The gym is cool, but it ain't the one and only. No reason why you can't do push-ups and bodysquats at home.

You should at least do 100-200 push-ups and 200 bodysquats at home everyday just to wake up. It takes less than 10 minutes.

If you can do bodysquats how do you lift yourself out of a chair? If you can't do triceps dips, and push-ups these are very basic exercises.

I work with people everyday 70 years old "my husband fell on the floor, he can't get up and I'm 67 I can't pick him up, can you send an ambulance?"

Dont use the "I don't have a gym membership" "I couldn't make it to the gym today" "I can't afford a gym payment this month" excuse. Buy some dumbells (plenty of used ones, they don't expire like milk 20lb dumbbell will always be a 20lb dumbbell) or invest in some equipment so you can work out at home.

Even if you don't have the space for a bow flex or bench press, buy a jump rope.
What workouts you recommend with 20 lb. dumb bells?
